Make Reported Problems or Glitches Available to OMSVision Users
It would be extremely helpful if reported problems, glitches, bugs, etc. would be available on the OMSVision support website as a document accessible to users. There could be a user ID or password to access the document, but we would sincerely appreciate knowing IN ADVANCE about problems reported by users and confirmed by OMSVision rather than have to discover them ourselves over time. When we upgrade to a new version, there is always documentation on "What's New," but it would be helpful to also disclose "What's No Longer Working." Reports in OMS Vision are very lackluster
- OMS Vision allows you to track new patients in almost every report, what about tracking existing patients that return to clinic and the duration of time since their last visit?
EX: Bob Smith (existing patient) returned for new treatment during March, and it's been 6 months since his last visit/treatment.
This way, you can track daily/weekly/monthly/etc. the amount of existing patients who are returning and their average length of time between visits

Letters to dentists/referrers
It would be nice for the clinicians to be able to select a box when adding/editing EHR notes on a given day for a certain procedure, to indicate what image in PT's documents correspond with the treatment. They could also select a contact for that treatment that could automatically generate a letter using the correct contact (ex: letters for implants go to general dentist or letter for an oral biopsy could go to someone else in this specific example) and then when they select the image that corresponds to TX, that image could automatically populate in an "image merge field"…

Report for appointments made
We'd like to see a report that lists every appointment that was made on a particular day. So I could pull a report of appointments made yesterday to verify all pertinent info was entered and or checked ahead of time. Also to keep track of each employees appointment setting rate.

Code 000011 Needs to be removed from Claims Status Report
Code 000011 is showing up on our unbilled report as a line item that has not been billed to insurance. This code is for a Ledger Note and you can't bill ledger notes to insurance. It does not make any sense.

MOOP - Maximum Out of Pocket
Please allow a field where we can enter a patient's "maximum out of pocket" amount. Delta Dental of Hawaii (HDS) and other insurance carriers will cover procedures at 100% once a patient's maximum has been paid. Once a patient's estimated share has reached that amount, OMSVision should calculate the patient's share as zero. These plans have unlimited benefits. Thank you.

Color codes for claims in process awaiting payment for 2ndry and tertiary
If outstanding claims could have colors, not just primary insurance, for secondary and tertiary insurance claims to show that payment is not received

Right click and go straight to treatment plan
Is there a way to right click and go straight to the treatment plan and print? As of right now our treatment plans are merged in letters. We just changed to OMS Vision and you have to go to so many steps to get where you want to be.... seems to be working harder and not smarter.

In Office STats should be printable. We also should be able to review a previous date of service.

In Office Screen - Currently you can filter this by provider and status. When you filter by status, you are only able to choose one. Would like the ability to filter by multiple status (but not all).

time clock spreadsheet
We would like to have a spreadsheet that can be printed with ALL employees, date, total hours per day, subtotal per week, grand total for each employee, location.
The current excel sheets do not have total hours on them, which makes them useless from an accounting point of view.

For HIPPA compliance, our OSHA/HIPPA audit has notified us we should have software that will lock someone out after multiple wrong attempts.
For HIPPA compliance, our OSHA/HIPPA auditor has notified us we should have software that will lock someone out after multiple wrong attempts. Here are some links from OIG Health & Human Resource which mention that it is an easy step that should be taken into consideration when and if there is a breach of patient information that we (the Dr & office staff) as well as our practice associates--(you the EHR company) have done everything to limit the access to our protected patient information. Also agree with prior posts that recommend password changes to comply with HIPPA.

Statements not HIPAA Compliant
On the statements the information that appears in the envelop window in not HIPAA compliant. The words "account" and "Patient" need to be removed to follow HIPAA regulations.

Please add the patient's date of birth for post op call list print out
when we print the post op call list for the Dr. it doesn't have the pt's date of birth. We need this in order to call in any prescriptions for the pt.

Create option to add PHI usage message (banner statement) to application splash screen
As a large educational and dental clinic, we are required to add a legal notice to end users of all of our EHR applications regarding use and access for HIPAA regulations. In many cases, we've just added the statement to the splash screen (.BMP) image so that it would appear for legality but not require extensive amounts of development to administrate. However, I haven't been able to find that image in the OMS Vision application files. I will verify with support if the splash screen image is compiled with the executable.
