Archiving Process
Within the ‘General’ tab there is a check box to make a patient inactive ‘Inactive Patient’.
I would recommend when the uses selects this function the documents in that patients ‘documents’ center be zipped up to one file. Old files will be removed so only the recently zip file will remain in its place. If a user needs to activate that patient again (by removing the check in the ‘inactive patient’ check box), the zip file will automatically unzip the file to its original location and the user will see all the documents in the document center. The same process…

List of categories in Document Center in Pre Reg the same as ones in Pt Info Center
In Patient Information under Documents Center, we have our categories where we scan our insurance cards, pt registration forms and all other pertinent information. In pre-Registration under Documents Tabs, there are NO categories. If we want to scan an x ray, referral or insurance information it goes to an unassigned category. I don’t want to create Insurance or x ray folders etc. as this will be duplicated once the patient is registered. The categories in our Patient Document Center SHOULD BE LISTED in the Pre-Registration Document Center so that anything scanned there will AUTOMATICALLY transfer over once the patient is…

document center print
When you have an item in the document center and you want to print it, you must first highlight it / open it / then choose to print it in whatever platform it opens in (windows picture viewer, adobe viewer, etc.).
There is a print option on the top of the document center that does not function. If you do not open it and just use that print button, it only prints a portion of the document.
Trainer note - It has been this way for years

Program "Delete" button in the Document Center to delete the actual pdf or jpeg file, rather than ONLY delete a shortcut to the file.
Please program so that the "Delete" button with its warning that deletions are permanent actually delete the document (the file itself such as the pdf or jpeg), instead of deleting a shortcut to the file. The pop-up warning suggests that the deletion is permanent. This is true simply as to a shortcut. But the file itself is permanently left behind in the patient's document center file. Users may believe they are deleting or purging a file, when the file is still retained. This is an issue for our office where we upload xrays and referrals for Pre-Registered patients. If the…

Letters to dentists/referrers
It would be nice for the clinicians to be able to select a box when adding/editing EHR notes on a given day for a certain procedure, to indicate what image in PT's documents correspond with the treatment. They could also select a contact for that treatment that could automatically generate a letter using the correct contact (ex: letters for implants go to general dentist or letter for an oral biopsy could go to someone else in this specific example) and then when they select the image that corresponds to TX, that image could automatically populate in an "image merge field"…

Choose email address
When sending email from Document center, be able to choose the email we want to send the letter to, i.e. referring Doctor or patient.

for letters to referrers
for letter to referrer, we need to be able to merge the exact date of service rather than the current date or date of last visit. If you need to generate the letter after the fact, days or weeks later, and the patient has had multiple service dates there is no way to tie the treatment to the right date on the letter. this is imperative.
