Family history questions on Truforms should integrate into family history section in OMSVision, not patient history.
Questions about family history on Truforms should integrate into the "Family History" section of the EHR in OMSVision. Currently, if a patient selects family history of diabetes in truforms, it will integrate under the patient's medical history as "history of diabetes." This makes it appear as if the patient had diabetes, when it was really just a family member, leading to inaccurate medical documentation.
Instead, the history of diabetes should enter into the "Family History" section under the "History" section in the EHR. Likewise, family history of cancer, heart disease, and anesthetic problems should be adjusted accordingly.

Update Truform Integrations for Medical History
Currently PBHS Truforms integrate into OMSVision. The demographics integrates well, but the medical history section integrates with terminology that a dentist or physician would not use, or wording that does not correspond to the question on the patient questionnaire.
For example, if someone selects "Bleeding tendency/abnormal bleed?" on the form, it will integrate as "blood bleeding tendancy." In the integration, tendancy is misspelled and should be "tendency," and the term "blood bleeding tendancy" would never be used by a health professional. Instead, it should integrate as "bleeding tendency."

markers for EHR
Would like the ability to attach a marker to the EHR.
Currently have the ability to attach a marker to various areas in the PIC and appointments.
Would like to be able to check three areas:
1. when opening the EHR
2. when adding a case

Primary dentition need not to be marked missing by default.
Perhaps people comes to surgery because they are adults and still have retained primary dentition?

Keyboard shortcuts
Keyboard short cuts for various buttons on left side such as "Power Merge" would be very helpful when using dictation software

Ability to edit medications
The "Amount" list in the medications tab under the objective in the EHR where we add the medications a patient is taking, the amount gives you only a few options; tabs, capsules, IV or IM. The ability to edit the list of type of medication (IV, IM, tab, etc) would be great. Also, the ability to add a "PRN" option to the medication would be great. This section is not user friendly for our office, therefore we only add in the medication name and move on.

I would like to be able to "free text" the dosage, route, and frequency of the medications that our patients are currently taking under the medication history section.

Allow Rearrangement of Boxes in Electronic Health Record Window
Allow users to rearrange boxes in EHR window (Medical History, Allergies, Alerts!, Quick Notes etc.) Currently Medical History box is on top. If the window is not maximized, often the allergies or alerts will be cut off. Allowing users the ability to rearrange the boxes to prioritize what they deem most vitally important would be useful so important information is not overlooked. For instance, if I want to rearrange my window so Allergies is located on the top, I am less likely to give my patient a medication they are allergic to and potentially cause harm or death. As it…

I am requesting for the patient photo portion in the EHR to be optional or minimizable.

Enhance security reports
The security report (patient>> Actions section>> Print/View>> Security File) is too complicated. In general, when there is a questionable entry, the primary issue is to identify WHO made the change. However, this report is sorted by provider then change type.
Please modify this report to include options to sort by or filter out unnecessary change types more easily so that users can easily verify changes and move on. Thanks!

medications combine
With the medications table and the ability to add on the fly and add from Truforms, we have several duplicates. Need the ability to combine (like the allergies section has)

ROS is part of the subjective exam and not part of the objective exam.
ROS is part of the subjective not objective examination of the patient. The tab should be moved (would be nice to pre fill ROS with automatic clickable entries pertinent to OMS procedures).

Allow software admins to create and add Merge Codes
Allow admins for the software to create and add merge codes. There isn't a merge code for Cell Phone.

ROS signature
Office is using the ROS tab for the Recovery Room Check list.
They have the escort sign instead of the provider. (work around)
They may have to change things still on the record.
When they change items, the signature disappears.
Would like to be able to add the signature at any time to this field.CID 110538

Rename TX summary
Currently the electronic health record has a section labeled "TX SUMMARY" and we click the "TX" button to access it.
This section in OMS Vision is now utilized for the anesthesia section.
Would like the ability to rename the section, just like we can rename tabs in the electronic heath record. Thus giving us the ability to change it from "tx summary" to "anesthesia report".
Also, the TX button should be changed to add or new instead.

Drag EHR merge fields
After a while, finding merge fields in the EHR can be a difficult thing to do. There are a couple things that may make this task easier.
The ability to drag a merge field from one category to another
The ability to click on a merge field in a narrative and that merge field "highlight" or have a right click option to show the pathway for where to find it in the list.

Option to add EHR Narrative from Services
Currently you have the option in the services to attach a Case template and TX template to a service.
Would like the ability to add a narrative here as well.

Layout sucks at best. Can not find needed information easily. Abbreviations are wrong
Have a MD DDS review your system and update your chart layout. It already looks outdated.
