  1. Attach perio charting to insurance claim

    You should be able to attach perio charting directly to insurance claim without having to print out the charting, scan it into document center and then copy and paste it to a claim. Very wasteful and cumbersome!

  3. add a pinboard for moving appointments/ similar to Dentrix

    The pinboard is effective for a QUICK move of an appointment. It would be a nice feature to be able to clip the appt to it- go to the new day and pop it into the schedule. You could still require the reschedule detail like office/patient r/s.

  4. preferred name

    Would like an option to have the patient's preferred name show on the appointment book. Perhaps a preference setting. It currently only shows in the appointment comments or in the patient information center.

  5. Sent Clinical Letters

    When we create a letter in Narratives for a patient letter to go to the GD, my doctor would like to see letter sent, whether it was mailed, e-sent or still pending. He wants a checks and balance system. If it could show on their previous appointment(daily Schedule) that would be ideal. Maybe you could attach the letter to an appointment so this option could be created?

  6. Add an ASAP list

    The call list and the tickler do not function well for a quick call list. Several steps have to be gone through to get a patient listed. In the edit appointment window, you could have a quick checkbox to add to ASAP list. The call list functions well for those patients that have not rescheduled appointments that are overdue but not those booked already. The ASAP list would be for booked patients wanting a sooner appointment.

  7. add a right click feature for easy treatment planning sequencing or phasing

    under the clinical tab you should be able to highlight several procedures, right click, and select to add to appointment or phase 1, 2, 3, etc. This would alleviate the time in sequencing or phasing treatment. Instead of having to do each procedure individually you could appt./phase several procedures into visits quickly. In Dentrix this was an option as was moving the procedures into a future plan as well- NICE FEATURE

  8. Calculate % BOP

    We found this to be a very valuable educational and motivational tool in our previous software. We were able to give the Patient a BOP Score. They respond very well to a "number/score". They are motivated to decrease that number/score, knowing it represents their level of infection. It would be great if ClinicalVision automatically calculates a %BOP. It would be very efficient compared to using a calculator to calculate the %BOP like we are doing now.

  9. Document Center options need to be updated!

    As we are fully electronic we use the Document Center often. We are previous Dentrix users and are very frustrated with how outdated the options are in PV. In Dentrix, you can drag and drop documents in there from your desktop instead of searching, scan as multi page PDF so the document is in 1 sub catigory, print to the document center and Dentrix would list the sub catigorys by date oldest to newest on the left side bar. Looking for and scanning documents is very time consuming in PV.

  10. Pease Update Messaging Center

    My office has 3 locations and we use the Messaging Center all the time. We are unable to view the first message that is sent unless we get a reply. Also, please consider adding a place where messages can be searched rather than scrolling through all the messages in order to find the one needed. When scrolling through messages the program does not allow us to scroll very far in the past, we will scroll down and the list of messages will jump back up to the most recent. There is an error that happens all the time when typing…

  11. Allow employees to create flags or make notes in TIME CLOCK

    It is aggravating when employees have to e-mail me to request a time change- if they could make me a note there/add flag, I could change it immediately, ALSO when pasting future dates/times it would be noce to have 2 sections to paste time for one day. I have to go in and do the morning time, then go back in and do the after lunch break time separately. UGGGHHH.

  12. Use Perfect Day (Dentrix) Scheduling for SCHEDULE TEMPLATING

    The way scheduling blocks appear are not user friendly and difficult to coordinate. Using a colored square around the preferred appt type instead of the whole block being shaded a certain color would allow easier and faster scheduling of appointments.

  13. Narratives search

    Within the narratives we have consents, post op instructions, pre op instructions, chart notes, communications notes....for both the doctor and hygienists.

    Would like the ability to search the narrative subject by key words. (for when there are many many records to scroll through)

    On the appointment tab, the alternate recalls with drop down menu should pull from the Referrers or GD field, not the cotherapist field, at least for Perio Vision

  18. be able to see the full days appointment on one screen

    You should be able to view the entire day from 8 to 5 on one screen. Eliminate a lot of the wasted space on the screen taken up by the thick black and white time lines.

  19. "View only" Security Permisisons.

    With both admin and clinical staff accessing the software the risk of deleting or changing information on a screen that employee needs to see is very high. i.e., clinical needs to access pt. info screen to take digital x-ray but can delete name, pt. # or ssn. VERY BAD, but happens accidentally.

  20. Appointment reminders remove comments

    When printing the appointment reminders from the configuration view, it adds the comments on the dymo label. Often these comments are not things for the patient, but rather reminders for the office.

    Would like ability to hide them (preference perhaps).
