"View only" Security Permisisons.
With both admin and clinical staff accessing the software the risk of deleting or changing information on a screen that employee needs to see is very high. i.e., clinical needs to access pt. info screen to take digital x-ray but can delete name, pt. # or ssn. VERY BAD, but happens accidentally.

A simple solution would still be alowing to view one security clearance level up but not be able to change and/or divide clinical from admin therefore core information can not be altered in error

Allow admin staff users to access insurance profiles and certain other screens but not be able to make changes. Currently if you have access you can make changes and this should be limited to the manager of insurance coordinator.

It's easy to over strike manes ,#s etc. Most will catch the error but some don't and we've had to locate lost info or one time restore to a backup of 4 hours previous. Talk about loosing time and valuable $! This can be done by allowing screens one level up be read only or setting up a dual level security code by groups.
