List of categories in Document Center in Pre Reg the same as ones in Pt Info Center
In Patient Information under Documents Center, we have our categories where we scan our insurance cards, pt registration forms and all other pertinent information. In pre-Registration under Documents Tabs, there are NO categories. If we want to scan an x ray, referral or insurance information it goes to an unassigned category. I don’t want to create Insurance or x ray folders etc. as this will be duplicated once the patient is registered. The categories in our Patient Document Center SHOULD BE LISTED in the Pre-Registration Document Center so that anything scanned there will AUTOMATICALLY transfer over once the patient is registered (as all the same categories are reflected there). If we add an additional category in the data base that should automatically update the pre-registration document center as well.
