Create option to add PHI usage message (banner statement) to application splash screen
As a large educational and dental clinic, we are required to add a legal notice to end users of all of our EHR applications regarding use and access for HIPAA regulations. In many cases, we've just added the statement to the splash screen (.BMP) image so that it would appear for legality but not require extensive amounts of development to administrate. However, I haven't been able to find that image in the OMS Vision application files. I will verify with support if the splash screen image is compiled with the executable. Be able to email patient information from the letters in the documents section to the referring doctors instead of mailing them.
Would be nice if the letters we generate in the documents section under the letter log can be emailed to the referring doctor or dentist instead of having to print out the letter and mailing it. Since postage is going up to 55 cents a letter this would be a real cost savings to a practice.

Turning Off Statments Option
It would reduce paper waste to have the option to turn off statements for accounts that have ANY balances still pending by insurance.

I would like to be able to run a report based on diagnosis codes. For example, run a report of TMJ patients.

Remove The Root Canal are if not using.
We are an Oral Surgeon's office. Is there a way to take the "Canals" section off? We do not and will not use this area.

Better Revenue Reporting Features
It would be helpful to have a report that helps track fee increases per code - i.e. date fee was changed, revenue produced from fee increases, the ability to compare if you have less patients scheduling appointments after fee increase (to see if your fees are too high and need to be adjusted) etc.

time clock note
Currently when training staff on the time clock, we advise them if they forget to clock in at 8 am, to go ahead and clock in when they do remember. Then someone with admin rights needs a hand written note given to them to remind them to fix the time.
Would like the ability for staff to add a note when clocking in or out that would communicate when a change or fix needs to be done.

Insurance payment options
When posting an insurance payment, if there is a patient balance due, you have to either exit out of the bulk check posting or remember to go back to the patient when you've finished posting.
Would like the ability to add a special note and print a statement at the time of posting the insurance payment

Treatment Plan / Tooth Selector
Change the default on the "Tooth Selector" box to OK, in lieu of "Cancel" When adding several teeth, it is easy to just type the numbers and hit "enter" but enter takes you to cancel and you lose everything. Not a very quick and efficient way to add teeth to a treatment plan currently.

List of categories in Document Center in Pre Reg the same as ones in Pt Info Center
In Patient Information under Documents Center, we have our categories where we scan our insurance cards, pt registration forms and all other pertinent information. In pre-Registration under Documents Tabs, there are NO categories. If we want to scan an x ray, referral or insurance information it goes to an unassigned category. I don’t want to create Insurance or x ray folders etc. as this will be duplicated once the patient is registered. The categories in our Patient Document Center SHOULD BE LISTED in the Pre-Registration Document Center so that anything scanned there will AUTOMATICALLY transfer over once the patient is…

zipcode file
When you type in a zip code in the Patient Info Center, Referral or when adding a guarantor.....it automatically inserts the city and state for you.
This should be the case throughout all areas of the software.
It is currently NOT doing this in the insurance profiles.

Ding/Beep sound when routed form pops up in virtual scan form box
It would be awesome if the system could make a sound when you get a routed form. Right now, if you're focused on something else or working on your other monitor, it's easy to miss that you have a form waiting.

reminder notes
Currently you are able to put a reminder note in on the patient information center, but you are not able to mark that reminder as "done".
There is a check box there, but it is not checkable (informational only).
To mark it as "done", you have to go to the tickler file (utilities, tickler file), find the reminder, edit it and mark the completed box. It's a lot of extra steps when we are already in the patient's chart.
Our only other option is to delete it and we would like to keep it as a documentation. We just need…

Post payments under the procedure and not by date of payment.
Posting it by date makes it difficult to see what procedure that pymt is for. Have the option to display it under the procedure as opposed to by date.

ability to suppress the alert pop up of other users/categories/etc.
customize it so only the notes the user enters only pops up.
