Pharmacy and e-prescribe
Our office enters patients pharmacy information into the chart...it automatically pulls into e-prescribe so I don't have to search for it each time. WOWZA!!!

Report for appointments made
We'd like to see a report that lists every appointment that was made on a particular day. So I could pull a report of appointments made yesterday to verify all pertinent info was entered and or checked ahead of time. Also to keep track of each employees appointment setting rate.

Archiving Process
Within the ‘General’ tab there is a check box to make a patient inactive ‘Inactive Patient’.
I would recommend when the uses selects this function the documents in that patients ‘documents’ center be zipped up to one file. Old files will be removed so only the recently zip file will remain in its place.If a user needs to activate that patient again (by removing the check in the ‘inactive patient’ check box), the zip file will automatically unzip the file to its original location and the user will see all the documents in the document center. Importing Codes - CPT, CDT and ICD-10
It would be awesome if there was a template you could utilize to batch upload codes into the "codes/lists" section of OMS Vision. With this feature, there could be an Excel Spreadsheet that follows your criteria, but would allow you to have a column for the code(s) and a descriptor so that each year when the new codes come out, you could just replace the current code set in your software with an updated full list in one quick upload vs. adding each of these codes individually. Make Reported Problems or Glitches Available to OMSVision Users
It would be extremely helpful if reported problems, glitches, bugs, etc. would be available on the OMSVision support website as a document accessible to users. There could be a user ID or password to access the document, but we would sincerely appreciate knowing IN ADVANCE about problems reported by users and confirmed by OMSVision rather than have to discover them ourselves over time. When we upgrade to a new version, there is always documentation on "What's New," but it would be helpful to also disclose "What's No Longer Working." pre registration
A Pre-Registration report based that can be sorted by the request doctor # . There isnt a report that shows me which patients haven't scheduled consultations yet and it is ideal to search based on requested doctors since each doctor has different schedule openings etc.

Medical Claims; additional fields
We need to have more options available to add other information to medical claims. Medicare requires a Referring and an Ordering provider on claims for images. With OMS Vision, we can only add one and have to stop the claim within our clearinghouse to add the other information. We also need to be able to add information in field 22 for any adjusted claims, corrected claims, etc. This is becoming more frequent with a lot of our medical carriers. AND they will no longer accept paper claims for any adjustments or corrections. This has to be done electronically. You have…

Outside of that, can you give us some examples of specific insurance companies that are requiring this information?

fee updates
When a user is performing a bulk percentage fee increase, have updated fees round to nearest whole dollar amount. Currently, after applying the overall fee increase, the user must go through each code and manually remove the amount after the decimal point (assuming they want to charge their patients in whole dollar amounts), resulting in a massive inefficiency.

Show newest prescription at top instead of oldest or at least have a preference to choose which shows at top

Average Production By Location
Please add to the Production Reports an option for average production, by location, for a specific time period. We're unable to locate one, and have checked with support as well.

To have a responsible party section for patients that are over 18 but the parents pay for treatment.
When a Patient is an adult and is there own Guarantor, yet another party pays for the treatment. The refund issued, if there is one, should go to the party who paid. Yet there is nowhere to notate whom made the payment on the payment screen. If you choose a credit card there is nowhere to type the name that is on that card.

Virtual Scan Form Pop Up for current and past days.
Virtual Scan pop-up only shows on the current day. Reports now only available to search for appointments that did not have a Ledger posting, but we are unable to check for past Pending or Routed forms that were meant for a patient’s Treatment Plan. It would be helpful to click on past days in the Appointment Book and still have Pop-ups showing any Pending or Routed forms, which have not been posted yet, whether intended for the Ledger or Treatment Plan.

Group Practices
Re: entering referrers when they are group practice members
Would like the similar options for group practices as for individual referrers. In our area, more and more physicians and dentists are joining groups. Patients sometimes do not know the name of the referrer they see. These patients may be new to the practice, don’t care, or see a different dentist in the group most times. We do set up the groups but the data is not usable from a practical standpoint.
