  1. Capitalize more than one letter

    We need to be able to capitalize a letter OTHER THAN the first letter in names and addresses. For example, patients with hyphenated last names or names like O’Brien, McMillan, etc. Same with road names.

  2. HAVE CELL NUMBER IN PRE-REG

    When creating a new patient account in pre-reg, there is an area to list Home, Work, or Fax number on the main screen. If you want to enter a cell phone number you have to click on the phone and do all that extra stuff to enter it. It would be better if the "Cell" option replaced the "Fax" option on the main screen. Patients almost always give us a cell phone number, but I have never known a patient to give us a fax number.

    Also in the Patient Info Center, it would be nice to have a way…

  3. Health History/True forms

    When the patient fills out their Health History paperwork online (True Forms), that information should be dispursed into the correct locations within the EHR. e.g., Patien enters Penicillin as an allergy, that allergy should then pop into the allergy section. Why do I have to type it all over again?

  4. Treatment plan separation

    On virtual scan forms for appointments, there are times when a patient has multiple treatment plans. However, when posting there is no way to mark as "Treatment Plan #1, #2, etc" without going to the clinical tab on patients record and changing each line individually. Would like to change directly on virtual scan form; i.e.: if the doctor routes up 2 different treatment plans, the first one for extraction(s) and then a second one for future implant placement should be able to change the "Treatment Plan#" accordingly prior to being posted. Form does show "Appt #" however does not change…

  5. change the categories for insurance estimates to those an OMS office uses -

    I would like to see the estimate categories under insurance profiles changed to those we in an OMS office use, such as Simple Exts/ Surgical Exts, Implants, Bone Grafts, etc as insurances do break these down differently - instead of having only one field for "ORAL SURGERY". I don't know too many OMS practices that need a breakdown for AMALGAMS, COMPOSITES, etc. Basically the oral surgery category needs to be broken down more.....

  6. Attaching x-rays

    I would like to see the ability to attach x-rays to a patient in pre-reg. There are a lot of referring dentists who email x-rays and being able to add these to a patient in pre-reg would save time by not having to look for the x-ray when the patient arrives at our office.

  8. Referrer Gratuitiy Stats

    In the "Referrer" section, I would like a place to enter gratuities given to our referring doctors. We often send referral pads or snacks to our referring doctors and would like the ability to note these and track them in the referrer section.

  9. Truform Integration

    I would like to see Truform search for Last Name and DOB in Pre-Reg instead of first and last name. Patients typically schedule an appt with their nickname and fill out truform with their legal name so truform does not integrate.

    Feature was added to allow duplicate pre-registration entries to be combined using the combine button. This feature was added to version 13

  10. EMR Editing Notice

    The EMR can be opened by multiple users with no notice that the data is in use. For example, Microsoft Word or Excel will have a pop-up alert that the file is a "read only" file and is locked for editing. We would like a notice that another user such as a surgical assistant is editing a Treatment Summary or part of the EMR so that if the doctor then opens the EMR and makes a change or correction, his work is not lost when the first user clicks "save" or simply exits the program and saves upon exiting.

  12. Add new codes to all fee schedules at once

    When the CDT codes come out each year, new codes are introduced. It would be nice to do a 'batch' update and add that code to all fee schedules at once, instead of doing it individually.

  13. Multiple Pages Medical Claim Forms Electronic

    Electronic medical claims that are more than one page need to have a way of saying continued in block 28 and the total being on the last page in block 28. Currently you can not do this and the claims are being processsed as two seperate claims. One claim may be processed a lot faster than the other one which causes delay when patients have a secondary insurance we need to file with and need all of the primary EOB to file it.

    The referrer database and Co-therapist database should be the same instead of having to enter the doctors info twice. I have docs that refer to me and then other docs I want to refer to and generate letters without having to duplicate their address and office ino

  16. Need to be able to put different ICD 9 codes per procedure without creating multiple claims

    Program currently when posting medical codes, the HCFA claim creates different claims if we do not put the Codes in the same order. We have codes that need to be on the same claim, but they use defferent ICD 9 codes. need this corrected.

  17. Print log of canceled/rescheduled appts & comments

    The ability to print patient canceled/rescheduled appointments and comments in the patient's file would be nice. If anyone in court ever needed documentation of failed appointments,contact notes doesn't not work. They are not locked nor time/date stamped. OMS should allow you to print the log of canceled/rescheduled appointments and not just a screen shot, that does not show everything.

  18. really need date of birth to be listed as a column in preregistration table so you can discern if same name patient is correct patient

    Add patient date of birth column in prereg table. Lots of patients have same name and when someone is in prereg and a patient calls with same name you don't know if you are selecting the correct patient.

  19. Put a 'Y' in box 24C of CMS-1500

    We need the ability to put a 'Y' in box 24C of our medical claim forms to indicate to the insuance company that treatment was emergent. Our claims are being denied sometimes because we didn't get pre-authorization, which we didn't have time to do as treatment was emergent! "Claim Extras" has a drop-down box for "Service Authorization Exception", but choosing "3-Emergency Care" from that list doesn't actually put anything on the printed claim form...
