Attaching x-rays
I would like to see the ability to attach x-rays to a patient in pre-reg. There are a lot of referring dentists who email x-rays and being able to add these to a patient in pre-reg would save time by not having to look for the x-ray when the patient arrives at our office.

It would be easier to be able to save them to "Image Library" rather than "Clinical Integration" in Pre Registration.

YOU CAN ATTACH THEM TO PRE-REG.!!! We save the files on the desktop then Go to Pre-Registration, with the patient's name highlighted, to the right click on document, this will then bring up the clinical integration box, click ADD, the insert object box pops up, from there you want to choose the tab, "create from file", you will then click on browse and find the image on your desktop, once you've highlighted that you will click ok, the image will pop up large on your screen, just close out of that, you then need to name the image , we name ours Pano1, Pano2 etc, then in the subject box we put "rec'd via email - date taken 1/1/1000 ot - no date, then click save. This will then at least save this in Clinical Integration. We have stickers that we've made up that state "Xray in Clinical Integration" so the doctor knows where to look!! Hope this helps!!

I do hope this is a sure thing to happen with easy steps to take ! The referrals come via email many times too now so please consider taking the referrals into consideration too !

80-90% of our referring doctors email everything to us for a new patient and we need x-rays and referrals to be attached with a new patient in pre-reg. This would cut down on all those little steps of finding them in another folder elsewhere.

I'm excited this is planned...can you program it so the xrays wind up in the pts IMAGE LIBRARY? dEB

This is huge problem right now. We have about 60% of the GPs emailing the xrays. We have no way of attaching them to the pts in pre-reg. This forces us to save the images in individual folder on the desktop, then paste them when the patient shows up for the appt.

sorry, guess I didn't put all the directions. Click on document, then add, then go to create from file tab, click on browse and find your file. We always just put ours on the desktop until we get it added in!! Hope this helps!!

You can actually! Pull the Pre-Reg box up, with the patients name highlighted click on document, this will then take you to clinical integration where you can add the file there. Once this patient is registered it will go in to clinical integration. We always make a note in the comment box of the patient that the xray is in Clinical Integration!!
