Treatment plan separation
On virtual scan forms for appointments, there are times when a patient has multiple treatment plans. However, when posting there is no way to mark as "Treatment Plan #1, #2, etc" without going to the clinical tab on patients record and changing each line individually. Would like to change directly on virtual scan form; i.e.: if the doctor routes up 2 different treatment plans, the first one for extraction(s) and then a second one for future implant placement should be able to change the "Treatment Plan#" accordingly prior to being posted. Form does show "Appt #" however does not change so listed as 2 separate treatments plans.
In 16.1 , there are now tabs in the virtual scan form that will allow you to do this.

We have problem with printing treatment plans too. It won't print in the order we put it in and if we have 45 mins of anesthesia for example then it wills have 30 mins anesthesia in first line, bone graft second line and add 15 mins anesthesia in third line, extraction in fourth... etc... I talked to technical support but they couldnt figure it out...

Agreed. The treatment plan printing process is very messed up. We would like to be able to put in multiple options and have them separated instead if re arranging and reprinting multiple times. We also have a problem when printing the treatment plan, it prints out of order and does not keep it in the order we put it in. ( ex: separates the anesthesia through out the teeth ext and makes it difficult for patients to read)

Our concern with using multiple treatment plans is that it can be easily missed that information was entered into treatment 1, 2 or 3. There should be some indicator that there are multiple treatment plans for a patient from the default screen. Am I missing something?

You can seperate the treatment plans into different options. At the top of the clinical tabe near the Medical History box there is a box that states "Show Treatment Plans" and a up and down arrow. The default is 0, but you can select 1, 2, 3, etc. When you are in that numbered treatment plan you can post that option into that numbered plan. You can also double click on the procedure and in the upper right select the treatment plan number as well.

We are having an issue with this as well. Most patient have multiple visits for different procedures. We are having to printout the treatment plans on separate sheets. Is there anyway to have the different stages of the treatment, stage I & stage II and so on visible on one sheet?
