zipcode file
When you type in a zip code in the Patient Info Center, Referral or when adding a guarantor.....it automatically inserts the city and state for you.
This should be the case throughout all areas of the software.
It is currently NOT doing this in the insurance profiles.
Entered for CID 1032886

reminder notes
Currently you are able to put a reminder note in on the patient information center, but you are not able to mark that reminder as "done".
There is a check box there, but it is not checkable (informational only).
To mark it as "done", you have to go to the tickler file (utilities, tickler file), find the reminder, edit it and mark the completed box. It's a lot of extra steps when we are already in the patient's chart.
Our only other option is to delete it and we would like to keep it as a documentation. We just need…

In Treatment plan screen, add the ability to mark a line item not to be billed to insurance
In Treatment plan screen, add the ability to mark a line item not to be billed to insurance. That way if someone other than who entered it posts it, it won't automatically or accidentally go to insurance. So a procedure not covered on a certain plan won't come back with EOB showing PPO write off & confuse patient

Access to DenOptix in Pre-Registration
When adding a PT to pre-registration, you can access the documents but you cannot add any imaging to the patient's DenOptix folder until the patient is registered. This has created a manual process where we have created a "scheduled patient's folder" on our network that we have to add individual folders to in order to store any sent images (pano/CT/etc) prior to the patient's appointment. It would be nice to access DenOptix in pre-registration so that we can store all PT info prior to them being registered.

Treatment Plan - printed report includes all treatment types regardless of filter settings
The printed Treatment Plan form doesn't respect filter display selections set on the application form. For example, if a user removes "Complete" treatments from the Filter Display of the treatment plans tab and then clicks "print," the resulting printed version still includes "Complete" treatments. The reason it's a problem for us today is that people sometimes overlook the status of treatment options and have attempted to do work that they shouldn't or was completed previously.
It looks like this would be a quick fix to change the printer's version of the query to the last one used to display filtered…

Simplify authorizing provider validation for scripts
We are an office with 20+ doctors, most of whom are residents. We received multiple calls to verify the physicians who have authorized a script. Currently, authorizing provider is not easily available from Patient >> Notes>> Medical Rx. The workarounds that I received to date are as follows:
1.) Enable Preferences>> Print Defaults>> Disable "Do NOT print RX older than today.
2.) Patient>>Actions section>> Print/View>> Security FileOption 1 creates additional security risk because it allows users to print the same script multiple times. I'm not comfortable with disabling this flag in general but especially not in mass.
Option 2…

Seperate columns for patient and insurance portions when printing out treatment plan
When printing out the treatment plan for the patient to sign/keep, when choosing to include the UCR (so the patient sees the difference their insurance is making) the insurance estimated payment prints directly on top of the patient estimated portion, with merely a "P" to differentiate which is which. This makes the printed treatment plan messy to look at, and difficult for the patient to understand. What we would like to see is the patient portion and the insurance portion to list separately side-by-side, for ease of understanding, as it does when the UCR is not included in the printed…

Stop auto filling patients social security number into the insurance subscribers ID
In the newest update the patients social security number is automatically auto filling into the insurance subscriber id. The patient is not always the subscriber. This is causing claims to bounce back.

We could use a preferred pharmacy field that could be free type in the patient info center...
Would like a preferred pharmacy selection and a table to store nearby pharmacies for quick access to phone numbers and information.

Add a feature that would show last date insurance profile was updated
We never know how current or outdated the info is ?? If it is current, then we would know that and not call on every patient

need comments box under patient demographics in general tab
There should be a box for free-form notes under the email area in general tab. We have a need to make notes about phone numbers, etc. and don't have a place to do that. Especially when OMS has so many inconsistencies in the way they list their phone numbers for patients and are listed with different categories in general tab, pre-reg and appointment book. And if you use drop downs to select phone as "dad" for the patient then under dad's patient info center it is also listed as "dad" when it is really self. Very confusing when you have…
3 votesYou can add notes both in “Quick Notes” (on the right-hand side) and in the communications tab, will either of these note fields capture the functionality that you need?

significant medical history
Currently in the significant medical history section, you have to single click an item at a time to add it to the window.
Would like to be able to highlight multiple items at once and then paste.

Auto Posting ERA's
The ability for OMS Vision to post ERA's (electronic remittance advice/ EOB) automatically to the ledger. Create the ability of OMS to link with Clearing houses or to received electronic EOB's back through your software and post the EOB/ERA to the patient's account.
1 voteWe currently support importing electronic EOB’s and auto-posting to the ledger, I suggest you contact our support team to see how this works, however I do see some room for improvement when it comes to automatically receiving the files.
Thank you for the suggestion.

Automatically create an entry in Contact Notes from the notes generated when an appointment is cancelled.
When an appointment is cancelled, it would be extremely helpful if any notes entered are automatically placed into the Contactes Notes tab. We are currently copying and pasting information about the patient's cancellation into Contact Notes to keep it there with all other correspondence and phone calls. If it does not paste automatically, it would be helpful if there is a check box to create the Contact Note when cancelling the appointment. Thank you.

Insurance maximums for specific procedures or procedure categories.
Starting to see profiles where the max does not apply to preventative procedures, only basic and above.
