It would be nice if updating a patient's info in pre reg updated it in registered info and appointments as well and vice versa.

Create the ability to delete a notation of resubmission in the Show Claim details
When you look at a posted procedure in te ledger and you want to view the claims submitted, often a claim shows as resubmitted but it was done in error. We would like a way to delete or remove a submission line in the show claims table.

Jpegs in narrative (e-mail/fax letters with logo)
There is not enough memory within narratives to add company logo/ letterhead. This is necessary when e-mailing other offices.

Tracking of ACH Payments
Would be nice to be able to track ACH payments in detail just like the "check tracer" soon all insurances will process through ACH. This would be very helpful for large payments (ie. Medicaid which runs many (60+) payment on that one ACH posting. I have made separate "MODE" types (ie. ACH-MCD, ACH-Aetna) to help separate but can not get posting details to check

AR marker warning
When running the Aging report, there is an option to add a marker to all patients that get pulled on the report.
Repercussions on this is that most people do not realize that it is adding it to ALL patients that the report pulls. And there is not way to remove it without manually going patient to patient.
Recommendation - Add a pop up warning...something like "Are you sure you want to add this marker to all patients on the report?".

contact notes redesign
Contact notes is not intuitive at all with the new "look" of the patient information center. Once you click the plus sign to add a new line, it is very hard to tell that there are fields that you can type into. The lack of indicators often make offices click on the plus sign again and again because they don't "see" where to type.

Treatment plan conversion
Currently there are options in the software to see what has been completed, suspended, unplanned, future, etc. on a treatment plan.
With all that data, we should be able to pull a treatment conversion report (bating average for lack of a better word).
Would like a report that would tell what was treatment planned, what was completed and what was suspended (refused) or marked for future.
This would allow us to see a treatment plan conversion rate. How good (or bad) we are doing at getting patients to proceed with the recommended treatment.
I think including codes (preference check) would…

Progress Note
Progress notes, allowing users with proper security clearance to add an addendum to a locked progress note accidentally entered on the wrong patient account. We are human and make mistakes and I understand not deleting the note but we should at least be able to add an addendum to it.

Pre-Registration Documents
The documents section of a pre-registration table should have the same basic folders that the registrered patients do. Our clinical team is always complaining that documents are scattered once the patient is registered and the front desk often does not have time to re-organize after the fact. Would be smartest to put documents in the correct folder right away.

Pre-Reg table - Inactivate
There needs to be a way to indicate that a patient that was referred and added to the pre-registration table no longer needs to be scheduled or is "inactive". It is important not to delete records incase a referring doctor calls, but we also do not want these patients that have moved or are not interested to continue receiving follow up calls. Adding an option in the "Needs to be seen" drop down list would be helpful

Archiving Process
Within the ‘General’ tab there is a check box to make a patient inactive ‘Inactive Patient’.
I would recommend when the uses selects this function the documents in that patients ‘documents’ center be zipped up to one file. Old files will be removed so only the recently zip file will remain in its place. If a user needs to activate that patient again (by removing the check in the ‘inactive patient’ check box), the zip file will automatically unzip the file to its original location and the user will see all the documents in the document center. The same process…

Importing Codes - CPT, CDT and ICD-10
It would be awesome if there was a template you could utilize to batch upload codes into the "codes/lists" section of OMS Vision. With this feature, there could be an Excel Spreadsheet that follows your criteria, but would allow you to have a column for the code(s) and a descriptor so that each year when the new codes come out, you could just replace the current code set in your software with an updated full list in one quick upload vs. adding each of these codes individually. If that's not something that you would like to allow the end users…

To have a responsible party section for patients that are over 18 but the parents pay for treatment.
When a Patient is an adult and is there own Guarantor, yet another party pays for the treatment. The refund issued, if there is one, should go to the party who paid. Yet there is nowhere to notate whom made the payment on the payment screen. If you choose a credit card there is nowhere to type the name that is on that card.

Reports in OMS Vision are very lackluster
- OMS Vision allows you to track new patients in almost every report, what about tracking existing patients that return to clinic and the duration of time since their last visit?
EX: Bob Smith (existing patient) returned for new treatment during March, and it's been 6 months since his last visit/treatment.
This way, you can track daily/weekly/monthly/etc. the amount of existing patients who are returning and their average length of time between visits
- Tracking for marketing outreach
