ID numbers
The Insurance ID numbers need to be protected. When you go to the insurance tab, the ID number is automatically highlited. If you are not careful with what you click on you will accidentally delete the ID number without even realizing it.

Allow Rearrangement of Boxes in Electronic Health Record Window
Allow users to rearrange boxes in EHR window (Medical History, Allergies, Alerts!, Quick Notes etc.) Currently Medical History box is on top. If the window is not maximized, often the allergies or alerts will be cut off. Allowing users the ability to rearrange the boxes to prioritize what they deem most vitally important would be useful so important information is not overlooked. For instance, if I want to rearrange my window so Allergies is located on the top, I am less likely to give my patient a medication they are allergic to and potentially cause harm or death. As it…

statement scrub
When generating a batch of statements, there can be several that have issues that would prevent them from being mailed out.
When there is a duplicate address and two statements print
When there is no address
The statements still print for both of them, then require the office to fix the issue and redo the statement.
Ideally, would be good to have a "scrubbing" message of some sort.
Example:
There are 21 statements with no address, would you still like to print them? Y or N (prints list instead)CID 109159 High Five Dental

I am requesting for the patient photo portion in the EHR to be optional or minimizable.
Please make the "Patient Photo" area capability to be minimized or eliminated from the EHR

REFERRING PROVIDER
It would be extremely helpful if OMS Vision would default to the "Referred By" provider as the Referring Provider I Box 17 of the CMS form. The default is BLANK. So for every medical claim form, you have to physically set it and when posting charges, this is not an area that you access without having to stop the process. IT only makes SENSE to have this spot default to the Referrer & taxonomy (as is required) on medical claims. If it is anything different THEN go back and change it.

pre registration
A Pre-Registration report based that can be sorted by the request doctor # . There isnt a report that shows me which patients haven't scheduled consultations yet and it is ideal to search based on requested doctors since each doctor has different schedule openings etc.

Medical Claims; additional fields
We need to have more options available to add other information to medical claims. Medicare requires a Referring and an Ordering provider on claims for images. With OMS Vision, we can only add one and have to stop the claim within our clearinghouse to add the other information. We also need to be able to add information in field 22 for any adjusted claims, corrected claims, etc. This is becoming more frequent with a lot of our medical carriers. AND they will no longer accept paper claims for any adjustments or corrections. This has to be done electronically. You have…

Outside of that, can you give us some examples of specific insurance companies that are requiring this information?

Integrated Electronic Sign-in/Check-in Application
It would greatly help larger practices if there was a way that patients could check themselves in on a separate screen or iPad that integrates with the software to reflect their arrival status. Currently, we are relying on a paper sign in sheet at the front desk which causes a lot of traffic when multiple patients arrive at one time. Prevent dual insurance claims being sent to the secondary carrier before the first carrier
We often find that the software is sending claims to the secondary carrier before the first carrier. To prevent this, we have to be aware if there are two carriers, terminate the 2nd to send the claim through to the 1st, then re-enter the 2nd carrier to print up the COB form. Very time consuming. If we do not follow these steps, patients get annoyed that we have "done it wrong" and claims are delayed because the claim for the 2nd carrier is denied as they know it should be paid by the other carrier first. CMS FORM
Currently our CMS forms are all set to "CMS 1500 Medical Form" (black form) which is the setting needed to file electronically. Occasionally we need to resubmit something on a "Red" CMS form. This cannot be done without going into the Insurance profile, changing the form, and printing the claim. THEN you have to remember to go back in to the insurance setup and change the form setting back to the correct form. It would be a great option to have the choice to refile/reprint on a red form from the resubmit screen without having to change anything in the…

in office filter
In Office Screen - Currently you can filter this by provider and status. When you filter by status, you are only able to choose one. Would like the ability to filter by multiple status (but not all).

Be able to email patient information from the letters in the documents section to the referring doctors instead of mailing them.
Would be nice if the letters we generate in the documents section under the letter log can be emailed to the referring doctor or dentist instead of having to print out the letter and mailing it. Since postage is going up to 55 cents a letter this would be a real cost savings to a practice.

Turning Off Statments Option
It would reduce paper waste to have the option to turn off statements for accounts that have ANY balances still pending by insurance.
