Formatting Issues - I would love to see a more printer friendly format of the deposit slip. When we print it, we physically cut around the box with scissors and oftentimes, when you have 10 or more checks received in a day, it prints a small box on the first page that prints and then prints a continuation box on a second page with the remaining check numbers. It would be nice to have this on one page in order to submit to the bank with the deposit slip instead of transferring the information when arriving at the bank. Second,…

Gender
Within the narratives and letters, there is a merge field for patient gender. This gender pulls from the patient information center / general tab.
Currently when it pulls in, it capitalizes Male / Female.
The problem is when you are inserting this into the middle of a sentence. Example: 36 year old female patient presents with....
Option should be available to lower or upper case the first letter.

Letter Logs Export
When exporting Letters via the Letters Log, it would be nice if the log would export the letters into groups of referrers or general dentists. This way, we can send batches of letters in one email to other treating providers. Right now, we are manually saving them into folders in order to send letters in groups vs. individual emails. This feature would be nice to have!

Customize Receipts
OMS Vision should make our receipts more customizable, let us select what is shown/printed. Right now, it doesn't even print the check number, if applicable. We would like to be able to show a little more detail (ie: ck number, notation if it is a copay, down-payment, etc)

MedXCom is a digital answering service that has data (patient phone call) that should be in the patient record, a bridge would be helpful

ICD10
Currently OMS Vision is loaded with all the basic oral surgery codes.
Would like the ability to add in additional grouping of codes without manually adding each one individually.

To have a responsible party section for patients that are over 18 but the parents pay for treatment.
When a Patient is an adult and is there own Guarantor, yet another party pays for the treatment. The refund issued, if there is one, should go to the party who paid. Yet there is nowhere to notate whom made the payment on the payment screen. If you choose a credit card there is nowhere to type the name that is on that card.

TREATMENT PLANS / CUSTOMIZABLE
It would be a great feature to allow us to customize our Treatment plans --- perhaps remove line items, or give one final total and one final estimate instead of showing everything per line item. Summarize the estimate !

Insruance E-payments
Would like the option when posting insurance payments, to be able to post e-payments from them as well. A lot of insurance companies send out Virtual cards, it has all the information needed (ie Address, name, zip code, and cvc).

Make Reported Problems or Glitches Available to OMSVision Users
It would be extremely helpful if reported problems, glitches, bugs, etc. would be available on the OMSVision support website as a document accessible to users. There could be a user ID or password to access the document, but we would sincerely appreciate knowing IN ADVANCE about problems reported by users and confirmed by OMSVision rather than have to discover them ourselves over time. When we upgrade to a new version, there is always documentation on "What's New," but it would be helpful to also disclose "What's No Longer Working." In Office Stats
In Office STats should be printable. We also should be able to review a previous date of service.

time clock spreadsheet
We would like to have a spreadsheet that can be printed with ALL employees, date, total hours per day, subtotal per week, grand total for each employee, location.
The current excel sheets do not have total hours on them, which makes them useless from an accounting point of view.

For HIPPA compliance, our OSHA/HIPPA audit has notified us we should have software that will lock someone out after multiple wrong attempts.
For HIPPA compliance, our OSHA/HIPPA auditor has notified us we should have software that will lock someone out after multiple wrong attempts. Here are some links from OIG Health & Human Resource which mention that it is an easy step that should be taken into consideration when and if there is a breach of patient information that we (the Dr & office staff) as well as our practice associates--(you the EHR company) have done everything to limit the access to our protected patient information. Also agree with prior posts that recommend password changes to comply with HIPPA.

Statements not HIPAA Compliant
On the statements the information that appears in the envelop window in not HIPAA compliant. The words "account" and "Patient" need to be removed to follow HIPAA regulations.

Create option to add PHI usage message (banner statement) to application splash screen
As a large educational and dental clinic, we are required to add a legal notice to end users of all of our EHR applications regarding use and access for HIPAA regulations. In many cases, we've just added the statement to the splash screen (.BMP) image so that it would appear for legality but not require extensive amounts of development to administrate. However, I haven't been able to find that image in the OMS Vision application files. I will verify with support if the splash screen image is compiled with the executable. Turning Off Statments Option
It would reduce paper waste to have the option to turn off statements for accounts that have ANY balances still pending by insurance.
