  2. Ding/Beep sound when routed form pops up in virtual scan form box

    It would be awesome if the system could make a sound when you get a routed form. Right now, if you're focused on something else or working on your other monitor, it's easy to miss that you have a form waiting.

  3. Post payments under the procedure and not by date of payment.

    Posting it by date makes it difficult to see what procedure that pymt is for. Have the option to display it under the procedure as opposed to by date.

  4. alert pop up

    ability to suppress the alert pop up of other users/categories/etc.
    customize it so only the notes the user enters only pops up.
    set alert pop ups for a date in the future (reminder).

  5. ability to enter last four of credit cards

    Would like the ability to enter the last four numbers of a credit card, so that when we refund to a credit card and the patient asks what card, we have an easy record to see. should show on the ledger like the check number does for checks and efts.

  6. Preference management

    I work for a college of dentistry which includes an Oral Surgery student clinic as well as residency program. Since implementing OMS Vision software, we've experienced several frustrations but most center around issues with how user configurations are managed within OMS Vision. I'll explain. The dentistry college is one part of a large complex of other colleges, hospitals, research groups, etc so this clinic's security is managed a lot more strictly than it might be a single practice clinic.   7. Need to change the treatment plan to print single space vs double space; wasting paper, toner, time!

    Treatment plan: The new version prints out 2 pages vs 1 page when we are printing the treatment plan if there are more than 7 items.The old version allowed more than 7 items to be printed on 1 page. Please change the printing of the treatment plan to single space vs double space. Then we will all save on paper, toner & time! We have the patient sign the treatment plan & scan it; now we have to scan 2 pages vs 1 page=waste of time!

  9. Prevent pop-up windows from stealing focus from dialog boxes.

    Would be great if you could figure out a way that pop-up screens such as instant messaging, In-office, etc. would not interfere with whatever the receiving user happens to be typing at the pop-up pops. This is a HUGE hassle when you're busy with patients and trying to get their information updated and estimate prepared.

  10. allow in preferences a settings to give options of how often the Virtual Scan opens

    Allow the user to choose how often the virtual scan form box pops up rather than every minute, like the daily reminders you can choose after so many minutes for it to pop up

  11. Allow Scheduling indicator

    If a current patient is not marked as Allow Schedule (therefore, do not schedule) that indicator is not showing up when the patient is added to the Pre-Reg for a new problem/referral. It would be beneficial to have that flagged somehow in Pre-Reg also

  12. Every search function in OMSvision is useless as it cannot cycle to next search item

    We use search for thing we are not certain. Search need function to cycle to next search item not only the very first that fits the criteria.

    the ability to mark procedures not to bill to ins while tx planning. So if someone different posts the procedure, ins does not accidently get billed

  15. Merging Accounts

    We need to have the ability to merge accounts. For example if the same patient is created twice We need the ability to merge the accounts into one. So all EHR Narratives, contact notes, phone numbers, address and ledger notes are combined into one account

  16. Transferring balances from Primary Insurance to Patient Balance

    Please create a more efficient way to transfer balances from insurance to patient. I have statements that are printing the wrong balances and I have to go into the ledger and click on each line item to transfer the balance. Right now if there are 2 insurances, the system thinks Primary and 2nd Insurance. In our case, we enter Dental and Medical, because some dental insurances required the medical eob. When posting the payment from the insurance, the system should allow a transfer to patient at this time. Thank you.

  17. In-office code that does not show up on patients statement

    The Virtual Scan Form works only through codes - at this time, all codes are visible on a patients statement and ledger. It would be very useful to allow offices to create codes that would improve communication but aren't necessarily things that the patient needs to know about. Ie. A code to specify the time units on a local procedure. A procedure done under local anaesthetic has no way of noting how much time is required. Unlike a nitrous or an anaesthesia case where the code specifies time, there is nothing to specify time on a local case.

  18. Referring & Non referring Docs

    Many times we need to write letters to patients other doctors that didn't refer them but we need to notify them of their patients surgery. We need the slot that says general dentists to say non referring doctor and be a drop down so we can specify if its an orthodontist, general dentist, endodontist or etc. In the referring slot our letters are thanking the doctor and specifying the treatment. Only one doctor refers the patient, theres no need to have more than one referring doctor. It is so important to be able to specify the specialists and be able…

  19. HIPAA concern with windows still showing or coming up after logging out of software

    There are a couple of pop-up windows with patient information that still come up or pop-up on their own after having logged off of the software, or if they already open (which many times isn't obvious as they may be hidden in the background) they do not close automatically when you log off of the software.

  20. Hire more software technicians so that we don't have to wait on hold during emergencies

    Something needs to be done in regards to waiting on hold when an issue with the software comes up. When you call for software support there are extremely long waits and you can't even talk to anyone - you are sent to hold from the beginning. There are glitches with the software all the time, especially after changing any setting or securities etc, resulting to not being able to use the software at any random time during a patient day. When a dental or oral surgery office has a software emergency they need help RIGHT AWAY otherwise the whole schedule…
