Create option to add PHI usage message (banner statement) to application splash screen
As a large educational and dental clinic, we are required to add a legal notice to end users of all of our EHR applications regarding use and access for HIPAA regulations. In many cases, we've just added the statement to the splash screen (.BMP) image so that it would appear for legality but not require extensive amounts of development to administrate. However, I haven't been able to find that image in the OMS Vision application files. I will verify with support if the splash screen image is compiled with the executable. Transferring balances from Primary Insurance to Patient Balance
Please create a more efficient way to transfer balances from insurance to patient. I have statements that are printing the wrong balances and I have to go into the ledger and click on each line item to transfer the balance. Right now if there are 2 insurances, the system thinks Primary and 2nd Insurance. In our case, we enter Dental and Medical, because some dental insurances required the medical eob. When posting the payment from the insurance, the system should allow a transfer to patient at this time. Thank you.

allow for double-sided printing

ability to enter last four of credit cards
Would like the ability to enter the last four numbers of a credit card, so that when we refund to a credit card and the patient asks what card, we have an easy record to see. should show on the ledger like the check number does for checks and efts.

Treatment plan status change
Currently if you want to change the status on a phase within the treatment plan, you have to do it line by line. This can be a lengthy process if you have a large treatment plan.
Would like the ability to highlight a phase within a plan and select to change the status on all lines.
Examples:
Change all lines to future (in order to put them on a future WIP report)
Change all lines to suspended (for treatment refused)

Preference management
I work for a college of dentistry which includes an Oral Surgery student clinic as well as residency program. Since implementing OMS Vision software, we've experienced several frustrations but most center around issues with how user configurations are managed within OMS Vision. I'll explain. The dentistry college is one part of a large complex of other colleges, hospitals, research groups, etc so this clinic's security is managed a lot more strictly than it might be a single practice clinic. Treatment Plan / Tooth Selector
Change the default on the "Tooth Selector" box to OK, in lieu of "Cancel" When adding several teeth, it is easy to just type the numbers and hit "enter" but enter takes you to cancel and you lose everything. Not a very quick and efficient way to add teeth to a treatment plan currently.

Ding/Beep sound when routed form pops up in virtual scan form box
It would be awesome if the system could make a sound when you get a routed form. Right now, if you're focused on something else or working on your other monitor, it's easy to miss that you have a form waiting.

Ability to exclude codes from showing as posted
Many offices are using a dummy code to post a pre payment to a patients account. This code is set up not to go to insurance and at a zero dollar amount. This code is posted PRIOR to the patient being seated or their work being charged out.
When the code is posted, the patient will show as posted on the ledger (when in fact, their treatment has not been posted yet).
Would like the ability to edit the master fee schedule and exclude codes from changing the status on the appointment book. ie. to exclude them from showing as…

Add EFT Payments to the daily posting report.
The end of day report | daily report | daily posting report should show EFT payments listed just like our deposit ticket shows checks listed. Balancing would be much easier.

Master fee schedule verbiage
Currently the master fee schedule lists the following three codes:
ADA
CDT
CPTWould like to see the wording of "ADA" changed to something else. Perhaps internal code or vision code.
ADA is a general dentistry thing and really doesn't apply as much to specialty.

Give us back what we used to have in monthly report to compare same month last year
For monthly reports Real Collections Report you used to be able to compare April of this year to April last year to show 13 months on the report. Then you guys took it away a couple years ago and only show 12 months on the report & I have been trying to get it back ever since and nothing has happened. I need to compare the same month from last year to this year. That is a common need for everyone & I don't understand the reason why something so elementary but so necessary would be taken away.

OPTION TO REMOVE MAKE CHANGE TO ALL INSURANCE PROFILES IN PREFERENCES
Very dangerous button when asks if want to make changes to all insurance profiles. Corrupts all our years of hard work in insurance profiles if this gets selected by accident. Doesn't even ask are you sure you want to do this. If you change an address it changes it for all profiles both medical and dental & they usually don't go to same address. Same for payor ID they usually don't have same payor ID. Example is Delta --has so many payor IDs and if you select button to change all Delta payor IDs you have to manually fix all…

Production report missing EFTs
When printing the Production report / Financial report, it will break down the collections by Cash / Check / Credit. Anythings posted to EFT is not showing on this report, thus creating a difference that is "unexplained" on the report.
Would be nice to add another field that would include any EFTs posted in the date range.

Need to change the treatment plan to print single space vs double space; wasting paper, toner, time!
Treatment plan: The new version prints out 2 pages vs 1 page when we are printing the treatment plan if there are more than 7 items.The old version allowed more than 7 items to be printed on 1 page. Please change the printing of the treatment plan to single space vs double space. Then we will all save on paper, toner & time! We have the patient sign the treatment plan & scan it; now we have to scan 2 pages vs 1 page=waste of time!

Prevent pop-up windows from stealing focus from dialog boxes.
Would be great if you could figure out a way that pop-up screens such as instant messaging, In-office, etc. would not interfere with whatever the receiving user happens to be typing at the pop-up pops. This is a HUGE hassle when you're busy with patients and trying to get their information updated and estimate prepared.

Allow Scheduling indicator
If a current patient is not marked as Allow Schedule (therefore, do not schedule) that indicator is not showing up when the patient is added to the Pre-Reg for a new problem/referral. It would be beneficial to have that flagged somehow in Pre-Reg also
