PDG- epayment allow signature pad to capture signature
currently the only way to capture the signature is if we keep the credit card on file, we would like the option of just swiping the card and capturing the signature for each transaction without saving credit card info. This would help us to be "Paperless" as currently we have to print out an extra receipt and have them sign it for larger amounts for our protection.

CLAIMS: When submitting prim and sec insurance - each should follow their own ins profile settings
Baycare: When you are submitting primary and secondary insurance both submissions follow the claim defaults of the primary carrier. If the primary carrier submits paper and the secondary carrier submits electronic, but submissions go paper. Both carrier submission should follow their own insurance profile settings.

APPT: Update the in-office status window whenever an appt is posted regardless of the time of day
Monterey: if you post a visit in the appt book before the appt time, the in-office status does not change (the color on the left of the appt block does not turn blue to indicate that the appt was posted). Previously anytime you posted an appt, it would be reflected in the appt book by turning blue. all of our receptionists look for the blue line next to all appts to ensure that thye have posted everything for the day. we frequently post appts prior to the appt time if a pt cancels the appt. we would like the in-office…

Elected Pharmacy needs to be visible on Homepage
A lot of times patients asks us what pharmacy we called in their meds and we need to go into Allscripts to look it up. It would be nice if the pharmacy is listed on the Homepage

IN OFFICE STATUS SCREEN
It would be nice to show last day insurance was verified on the in-office status screen instead of opening patient's chart every time they come in.

Suspend insurance when claim is out but patient has new insurance and needs treatment.
When a patient comes in and has a cleaning or treatment and we submit to the insurance company and while waiting on the claim to be paid the patient changes insurances and we now need to paste the new insurance in and submit new treatment and claim to new insurance while still holding the other insurance waiting on the old claim to be processed, we should be able to suspend an insurance instead of completely terminating it.
2 votesYou can still post payments to a terminated insurance carrier. I would highly suggest you contact our support team about this.

Aging Report Changes
The current aging report has 7 aging buckets, 0 to 30, 31 to 60, 61 to 90, 91 to 120, 121 to 150, 151 to 180 and 181+ days, which would be 6 months or greater. However, these aging buckets are on the totals for each patient.
By TOTAL, I mean that it includes BOTH insurance claims balances AND patient balances.
The equation being, total balances = insurance claims balances + patient balances.
I would like all 3 perspectives separated out
- the total balances and those aging buckets (which you have)
- the insurance claim balances ONLY, with the same aging…
2 votesEric,
I apologize for the misunderstanding regarding this request – And I thank you for submitting more information to allow us to see exactly what the pain point is here.
I also apologize for not seeing this update sooner, the software we currently use isn’t very good at notifying us when we have a comment response, they often get missed, this is something we’re working on rectifying in the near future when we hopefully switch to a new feedback form.
I’m re-opening this idea, and I will ensure it is given the proper weight during our prioritization meetings.
Thanks.

change color of completed treatment from green to yellow after 5 years for crowns and 2 years for fillings which are insurance norms.
Insurance companies generally will pay for a new crown after five years and a new filling after 2 years. In CV once you have completed treatment it stays light green forever so if a crown needs to be replaced and is 10 years old you would have to get up and look at the ledger, or view the treatment history to know how old the crown is to determine if the insurance company will pay for it. When I am doing and exam it would be great to be able to look at the monitor with CV up and see…

Having the patient ID number in the Edit appointment screen.
To be able to see the pt number in the appointment edit screen. Rather than having to click on the PIC to get this number. One less click.
