  2. The payment plans should automatically update in Dental Vision for orthodontic payment plans

    When running reoccurring payments in Dental Vision for orthodontics, I have been informed that I will need to manually update the payment plan numbers/balances. We recently updated our credit card swipers from TSYS.Prior to this transition, Dental Vision was able to update payment plans,

  3. Aging Report Changes

    The current aging report has 7 aging buckets, 0 to 30, 31 to 60, 61 to 90, 91 to 120, 121 to 150, 151 to 180 and 181+ days, which would be 6 months or greater. However, these aging buckets are on the totals for each patient.

    By TOTAL, I mean that it includes BOTH insurance claims balances AND patient balances.

    The equation being, total balances = insurance claims balances + patient balances.

    I would like all 3 perspectives separated out

    1. the total balances and those aging buckets (which you have)
    2. the insurance claim balances ONLY, with the same aging…

    I apologize for the misunderstanding regarding this request – And I thank you for submitting more information to allow us to see exactly what the pain point is here.

    I also apologize for not seeing this update sooner, the software we currently use isn’t very good at notifying us when we have a comment response, they often get missed, this is something we’re working on rectifying in the near future when we hopefully switch to a new feedback form.

    I’m re-opening this idea, and I will ensure it is given the proper weight during our prioritization meetings.

  4. change color of completed treatment from green to yellow after 5 years for crowns and 2 years for fillings which are insurance norms.

    Insurance companies generally will pay for a new crown after five years and a new filling after 2 years. In CV once you have completed treatment it stays light green forever so if a crown needs to be replaced and is 10 years old you would have to get up and look at the ledger, or view the treatment history to know how old the crown is to determine if the insurance company will pay for it. When I am doing and exam it would be great to be able to look at the monitor with CV up and see…

  6. Elected Pharmacy needs to be visible on Homepage

    A lot of times patients asks us what pharmacy we called in their meds and we need to go into Allscripts to look it up. It would be nice if the pharmacy is listed on the Homepage

  7. When sending e-claims if there is anything wrong, it completely shuts down my OMS program.

    The reason is often because of "Subscriber relationship is off" When I look it is often not, and this is causing major issues when trying to send the e-claims out.

  9. No "Last Appt:" date on guarantor.

    We do not want a "last appt:" date to be automatically placed on the guarantor of the account. We are mostly a pediatric practice and we use a confirming company, so they are pulling these guarantor's as past due patients when in effect they don't even come to our practice.
    It looks like it is placing the same date patient was registered as last appt: date. This should pull when a patient actually has an appointment. ??

  10. Change Font and colors within the note templates to be more user friendly for clinicians to find the sections they would like to edit?

    Every other section a different color to find more easily when editing

  13. CK - email & phone copy to family members option

    Right now if you change the address, the system will ask if you want to copy to the other family members.

    Would like a similar option for the email address and the phone numbers. Perhaps to work like the copy button does on the insurance profile instead though? Where you can designate where it goes (home/work/cell/etc.).

  15. DC - Eliminate "SVN" from being in the title

    Currently, you have to manually delete "SVN" from the title in each SVN. It would be great to have the option of removing this from the template altogether.

  16. add "quick statement" option to payment screen.

    When receiving payment from insurance and the patient has a balance it would be helpful to have an area to click on to have a quick statement pop up like there is for a receipt.

  17. Missing Info

    There should be an indicator if a patient has missing, incorrect, inaccurate or misspelled information. That way, claims and other related issues will be solved ahead of time and not wait till the claim is resubmitted.

  19. DC - When managing SVN templates and adding more options to "Multi-select", have the option to select where to place new item.
