Allow employees to create flags or make notes in TIME CLOCK
It is aggravating when employees have to e-mail me to request a time change- if they could make me a note there/add flag, I could change it immediately, ALSO when pasting future dates/times it would be noce to have 2 sections to paste time for one day. I have to go in and do the morning time, then go back in and do the after lunch break time separately. UGGGHHH.

Use Perfect Day (Dentrix) Scheduling for SCHEDULE TEMPLATING
The way scheduling blocks appear are not user friendly and difficult to coordinate. Using a colored square around the preferred appt type instead of the whole block being shaded a certain color would allow easier and faster scheduling of appointments.

add a pinboard for moving appointments/ similar to Dentrix
The pinboard is effective for a QUICK move of an appointment. It would be a nice feature to be able to clip the appt to it- go to the new day and pop it into the schedule. You could still require the reschedule detail like office/patient r/s.

Give an option on Fee Updates
When updating the fee schedule, we should have the option to up the fee and NOT include change. Most practices do not use cents in their fees and prefer to round to the nearest dollar. When we update fees, we have to then do into edit mode and remove all of the change from the dollar amounts.

Fix the issue with not allowing a quadrant for D4260 right away!
There are several issues and glitches in the software. When can we expect a fix???

appointment search
There is an awesome feature in the software for appointment searches.
Appointment book / tools / search / appointment search
It looks for both new and existing patients (only field that does!)Issue - it is hard to find and staff forget where it is all the time. Would like to have it as a quick button on the appointment book instead, like the open time search and printer icon are
(also, it should say that it is first name / last name here, since this is the only search field that goes that way in the software!)

Modify Zip Code area
It would be helpful if the zip code box would work better for Canadian zip codes. Not only for patients, but also referring doctors, as they have a different type of code that the USA.

Treatment plan status
The treatment plan status should automatically changed from 'planned' to 'in progress' when the treatment is linked to an appointment and the planned for date should change to the scheduled date. It is very time consuming to go back into the PIC, tx plan tab and then edit each code separately. This would make the work in progress report more accurate and save from having to check to see if each patient is scheduled.

Clinical Vision Charting
Why is the dentition not aligned with the teeth #'s when you are viewing "Split Upper" or "Split Lower"? This makes it difficult when charting new numbers. It would be very very helpful if they were aligned, or when charting pocket depths the tooth will be highlighted somehow on the charting half of the screen and the dentition half.

Changed Payment Screen in PerioVision 16.1
The change when entering payment in payment screen is not user friendly. At first I didn't think it was taking the payment and thought I was backtracking out & then noticed that it actually took the payment. It was better before and would also be great to get an Itemized receipt in the payment screen instead of having to back out and then go into the patient's ledger to be able to give the patient an itemized receipt.

Why is the Default Printer-Nova PDF?
Any time I print, I have to switch my printer. The support at PerioVision said we would only have to switch it once. That is true for PerioVision, but not Microsoft word and other programs that I use. This started with the upgrade, which typically causes issues for 2-3 months. Please get it together and have things worked out before upgrading. It seems that I spend a lot of money after an upgrade with my local computer/IT guy.
1 voteThere is a setting in your operating system that can change what default printer is used by programs you use, this is the setting you want to change.
I recommend you contact our support team, they should be able to help you change your windows default printer.

Appointment reminders remove comments
When printing the appointment reminders from the configuration view, it adds the comments on the dymo label. Often these comments are not things for the patient, but rather reminders for the office.
Would like ability to hide them (preference perhaps).

Plaque index in perio chart
Would like to be able to record the plaque index in the periodontal chart.

Allergies
It would be prudent to have a confirmation box in case of accidentally deleting allergies over 24 hours old.
1 voteCan you give us more information on this? Currently you can delete it, but it doesn’t actually remove anything, it just does a strike-through.

Set our own work week for time clock.
Allow calculating of time based on our actual pay dates. Right now it totals the calendar week for you, but we do payroll based on a Tuesday-Wednesday work week. It's very hard for our accountant to look at the time sheets when there's a big block right in the middle with an inaccurate total for our office and then our "flagged" total is at the very end.

Itimized Recipts in payment screen
When you enter payments to an account, the check box to get a receipt should be an itemized receipt. We shouldn't have to go back into the patient's ledger and "reprint receipt" to get an itemized receipt.

Changing a patient's "Type" shouldn't re-open old Insurance claims.
When a patient goes from Type "IPP" (Insurance pays patient) to Type "2" (Standard), it should NOT re-open old claims from years past. It should start from that day going forward and not automatically affect every old claim from before, or you should have a choice if you want it change previous claims or not.
