  1. call, text, email patients to confirm appointment

    Either be able to use a 3rd party program or develop a program so patients can be called, texted, or emailed appointment confirmation. We are looking to utilize a service and nothing works with PerioVision.

  2. add a right click feature for easy treatment planning sequencing or phasing

    under the clinical tab you should be able to highlight several procedures, right click, and select to add to appointment or phase 1, 2, 3, etc. This would alleviate the time in sequencing or phasing treatment. Instead of having to do each procedure individually you could appt./phase several procedures into visits quickly. In Dentrix this was an option as was moving the procedures into a future plan as well- NICE FEATURE

  3. "View only" Security Permisisons.

    With both admin and clinical staff accessing the software the risk of deleting or changing information on a screen that employee needs to see is very high. i.e., clinical needs to access pt. info screen to take digital x-ray but can delete name, pt. # or ssn. VERY BAD, but happens accidentally.

  4. change text font in appointment book

    You should be able to change the font of the text in the appointment book to make it easier to read. You should also be able to change to background color of the appointment book to decrease the contrast between the appointment colors and the background. See Dentrix as an example.

  5. alternate recalls

    On the appointment tab, the alternate recalls with drop down menu should pull from the Referrers or GD field, not the cotherapist field, at least for Perio Vision

  6. set the office open and closing times on the app

    There should be a way to set the open and closed times of the office for the day and have the appointment book display only those times on the screen instead of starting at 6 am and going to 10 pm. Manually blocking out the times when you are not open does not prevent PV from displaying them as if they are part of the regular day and it is a very inefficient way to do it. See Dentrix as an example.

  7. be able to see the full days appointment on one screen

    You should be able to view the entire day from 8 to 5 on one screen. Eliminate a lot of the wasted space on the screen taken up by the thick black and white time lines.

  8. Text/Size Resolution options within PerioVision

    As of now the only option to make the size of the text larger is to change your computer resolution settings, we don't want to change the whole computer just to make PerioVision larger.

  10. change clinicalvision full screen.

    The full screen shows 1/3 perio charting and 2/3 notes and a blank blue screen. Since the charting is the most important, maybe it should be the majority of the page. Also, seeing the teeth and probing would be helpful.

  12. Enable the deleting or editing a date of the perio chart

    There are times when a hygienist does not probe exactly as the doc finds it- need to edit the perio chart data, also need the ability to date a chart. when we receive one from a general office we like to enter it into our software so we have a direct comparison and easy access for e-claims. We like to put the ACTUAL date which is usually in the past. need ability to edit the date and/or delete an incorrect perio chart.

  13. Recognition of mucogingival defect

    In perio chart, we can probe, chart fgm, mgj. There doesn't seem to be anything that recognizes a mucogingival defect. It would be very helpful to print out the charting and have some sort of icon on the tooth/teeth that have a defect.

  14. Perio Vison Mobile

    I currently have 5 active doctors in my practice. When we bring up the mobile application about 11 doctors names come up to select from. When my doctor is trying to get to him on his cell phone because the screen is so limited he has to look through them to find his name. We would like to see an option to select doctors to show up on the mobile app active or not. He is the only one using the app if we could just have his name come up that would be great. He is frustrated and ready…

    Since this is perio, would be nice to have a way to show that there is no or minimal attached gingiva on a tooth in the perio charting.

  17. insurance attachment icon

    Would be nice if there was an icon in the Electronic Claims window to show that an attachment has already been added to a claim, without having to open the attachment window to see this. Just a check box would be perfect.

    Guarantors need to be designated as such without appearing in the patient list. As a result they appear in various reports such as "new patients" when in fact they are not, which skews report results.

  19. Add features to the 'TODAY'S REMINDERS' pop up window.

    Especially the tickler file portion. We should be able to print this list from the pop up window or be able to check off or delete completed tasks. It would also be nice to have the option to have pin it or let it continue to pop up through out the day.

  20. Print UCR on TxPlans

    I know there is a column for this but it has not worked for our office. Billed is not the same as UCR or allowable. Really allows the patient to see the benifit of benifits. lets get it to print on different documents. The ledger patients donb't see.

    How many times to you hear, 'how much does my dental insurance cover?"
