  1. When tooth is missing crown, it should be depicted on Clinical Vision as root only in perio chart and pocket chart, and allow probing record

    Would like the ability to have a speed code type option for prescriptions, so they can print 3 or 4 RX without having to individually choose them.

  3. Make box for notes in Clinical Vision bigger

    When in the periodontal chart tab, the space for the notes is so small. We have to switch back to the Hard Tissue tab in order to get some extra space to be able to read and/or record our notes without having to scroll forever. It would be nice to have the note space way bigger in the Hard Tissue tab especially since there is just a lot of blank space everywhere else.

  4. Have the option to enlarge or change the font

    It would be really nice to be able to change the font, especially to enlarge it. This would help especially in being able to record in and read progress notes easier for people who might not have the best near-sighted vision.

    I can see the level of the person logged in....but not who it actually is. Would like this as an option.

  7. insurance estimates

    Would like the ability to have an insurance fee in the system, but NOT have it bill out to the ledger as the billed amount.

    Only want it to get a more accurate estimate for patient copays for out of network insurance carriers.

  8. PIC merge fields

    Currently, there are EHR merge fields for prescriptions, medications, significant medical history and allergies.

    Of those 4 items, only one of them also exists as a PIC merge field (significant medical history).

    This becomes a problem if you are using narratives for your clinical notes, but not using the electronic health record. It is too many extra steps to create an EHR case just to have access to those three merge fields.

  10. Show position and spans of splints and bridges in ClinicalVision

    It would be nice to be able to go paperless with perio charting on ClinicalVision, but there is no way to show where spllints and bridges begin and end, other than making "tooth notes". Although the program supposedly darkens the outline of splinted teeth (impossible to notice), it does not distinguish where two adjacent splints are separate. We have to do this on a paper chart, which may later have to be altered if restorations are changed. A simple mark on the interproximal surfaces of splinted adjacent teeth would suffice, preferably shown on the Periodontal chart. Same for a bonded…

One of the main reasons to have a digital computerized periodontal charting system is to facilitate comparison of periodontal data over various time intervals. In the past, I was able to quicktly flick between charts taken at different dates to make these comparisons. Now, however, when a tooth or implant is extracted, all previous charts erase the visible data onscreen related to this tooth or implant.   12. perio charting changes

    A few changes to the perio charting based on common periodontal practices in the field:

    1. Bleeding, currently charts 6 points, want to chart just 1 on L / 1 on B
    2. FGM, currently charts 6 points, want to chart just 1 on L / 1 on B
    3. Mobility, can't use the 10 key pad like everything else
    4. pocket charting, ability to reset just the pocket depths
    5. make buttons smaller and tooth chart larger
    6. Bleeding, ability to have a bleeding percentage based on info entered

  13. pre registration notes

    When a patient is registered, the details from pre-registration automatically show up in several places in the software.

    appointment comments - would like the ability to choose what shows or prevent the default text

    quick notes - would like a preference to prevent this

    progress notes - would like to migrate this to contact notes or prevent it (cannot hide progress notes due to this auto populating)

    Would like to be able to enter ONE number for recession for each side (buccal / lingual). Currently you have to enter six numbers.

  15. Give the ability to send a bulk mailing to a group of patients.

    When a perio office has pre-registered UNSCHEDULED patients it is good for them to be able to reach out to these people with marketing pieces and to obtain a good New Patient flow to increase revenue. Allowing a bulk format for doing this instead of sending each one individually saves time and frees up team members for other tasks.

  17. Combining Accounts

    It would be fabulous to be able to combine patient accounts if it is a duplicate. We seem to have a problem with creating new accounts when registering patients out of pre-reg. If we can't combine the accounts, the ability to delete a duplicate account would be another great feature.

  18. Procedure documentation with multiple person input.

    It would be a great if notes could be track the person entering them; ie: an assistant may enter pre surgical information regarding a procedure, and the Doctor can enter his procedural details in the same progress note within clinical vision - the system would be able to track each person involved.

  19. "Snipping tool" helps attach without scanning

    the snipping tool app is what our office uses to attach xrays, perio charting and diagnosis. Time saver!!

  20. preferred name

    Would like an option to have the patient's preferred name show on the appointment book. Perhaps a preference setting. It currently only shows in the appointment comments or in the patient information center.
