Treatment plan status
The treatment plan status should automatically changed from 'planned' to 'in progress' when the treatment is linked to an appointment and the planned for date should change to the scheduled date. It is very time consuming to go back into the PIC, tx plan tab and then edit each code separately. This would make the work in progress report more accurate and save from having to check to see if each patient is scheduled.
What benefit does changing the TX plan status to “In Progress” have for your office?

Thanks for the response!
Changing the TX plan status to "In progress" when scheduling a patient will allow us to utilize the work in progress report more efficiently, by either printing a report with "in progress only" or with all phases, we can then see who is scheduled and who hasn't scheduled. This would save me a lot of time of having to check each patient on the report to see who has scheduled tx and who needs to be called.
Also, when viewing the tx plan tab in the PIC it is highlighted yellow, a very quick way to see what phase the patient is currently in.
