Attachments in pre-reg
There needs to be an additonal tab in pre-reg were you can import referrals, xrays and any outher scanned or imported images into prereg. Our office attempts to have everything ready on a patient before they get here, to streamline registration. upon registration, the attached files should all import into Image Library

Multiple Pages Medical Claim Forms Electronic
Electronic medical claims that are more than one page need to have a way of saying continued in block 28 and the total being on the last page in block 28. Currently you can not do this and the claims are being processsed as two seperate claims. One claim may be processed a lot faster than the other one which causes delay when patients have a secondary insurance we need to file with and need all of the primary EOB to file it.

Rx alert - visible in EHR
There is a new RX alert that informs you if a patient is allergic to a medication when you go to prescribe for them. Great feature but would like to see this in the EHR as well when you go to prescribe from there.

Show all the times and dates that claims are sent
Often we have been asked by patients or insurance companies how many times a claim has been submitted and on what dates. The software will only show you the most recent date of filing. Several times I've had to "prove" to an insurance company that the claim was submitted within the first 30-90 days, but if it only shows the most recent date and that's 90 days after the treatment then I have no way to prove it (unless we are making case notes of every time a claim is sent). The new HIPAA Hitech act states that EMR has…

Editing a supernumary tooth number in the patient ledger
It just came to my attention that we cannot edit a supernumary tooth number in the patient ledger. I worked with Support on this and they agreed it cannot be done. This should not be an enhancement, but a fix.

Printing Margins
when printing, allow the margin parameters to be saved so they do not have to be set each time. This is for those of us that use script printers for our Rxs. It is quite a pain to have to reset them each time to ensure the best print.

Allow Ctrl/click/drag to COPY an appt or block on appt schedule
We use blocks to indicate meetings, blocked time, etc. Currently only way to 'copy' a block or an appt is to right-click, reschedule/copy, choose the 'make copy' box and then go to the day; make copying more like typical windows tools allowing ctrl/click/drag or have appt/block highlited and Ctrl/C for copy and then go to day/slot you want it pasted, and Ctrl/V

You can already do this. When you attached the referrer to the patient select the location also. All letters will have the address of the location you select.

Referrer Gratuitiy Stats
In the "Referrer" section, I would like a place to enter gratuities given to our referring doctors. We often send referral pads or snacks to our referring doctors and would like the ability to note these and track them in the referrer section.

Keep all teeth charts available DECIDUOUS + PERMANENT
We are getting alot of teens with retained deciduous teeth and no where to mark them on the EMR. The primary teeth chart is defaulted to shut off after the age of seven, they need to be available at all times because more and more teens are coming in with retained teeth.

Print log of canceled/rescheduled appts & comments
The ability to print patient canceled/rescheduled appointments and comments in the patient's file would be nice. If anyone in court ever needed documentation of failed appointments, contact notes doesn't not work. They are not locked nor time/date stamped. OMS should allow you to print the log of canceled/rescheduled appointments and not just a screen shot, that does not show everything.

Move the note lock symbol to the end of the line.
As it is now (ver 15.2) the lock symbol blocks our view of the treatment listed on line 2 of the appt

Quick Statements
In the Preferences under Print Options we would like the option to print the Quick Statement instead of the Payment Receipt or Billing Receipt. As we learned at the "Expert Series" in Boston, it is the Quick Statement that initiates the Billing Cycles, not the Receipts.

Enhancement Request
We would like there to be some kind of notification on the General Screen if a patient has more than 2 insurances - if it could change color maybe? I believe we have asked for this before at the Task Force Mtg. The reasoning is because if the insurance are not entered in order of submission, the staff needs to know there are more so they can go to the insurance screen and see what they are.

Call List Patient Notes
When a patient is added to the call list you can currently add notes to that particular patients entry. It is asked that you allow those notes to follow the patient and appear in the appointment notes when the patient schedules.
1 voteHigh Priority – the notes on the appointment now copy to the call list and then copy to the re-scheduled appointment.

Billing Cycles
Ability to set our accounts to be 90 days interest free and then never not change after 90 days because payment posted to account changes the billing cycle to "0" allowing another 90 days interest free. Also it removes them from the "aged 90 days" aging report for another 90 days.
