Attachments in pre-reg
There needs to be an additonal tab in pre-reg were you can import referrals, xrays and any outher scanned or imported images into prereg. Our office attempts to have everything ready on a patient before they get here, to streamline registration. upon registration, the attached files should all import into Image Library

We use the document button!! We save the xray, referrals, etc onto the desktop, then go to Pre-Reg, once you have the patient's name highlighted, click on document (the buttons on the right), the clinical integration box then pops up, click add, then choose the create from file tab, you will then choose your document from your desktop and attach, the file will then open large on your screen, close that. You will then need to give the attachment a title, we use ( Pano1, Pano2, PA1, Referral, etc..) and in the description box we put, rec'd via email - taken 1/1/1000 or no date, for referrals we will put the reason for the visit, ie, Ext#30, Implant, etc... We will then make a note in the patients Pre-Reg - "XRAY & REFERRAL IN CLINICAL INTEGRATION", we have stickers to put in the chart so the doctor knows where to find them!!
