  1. do not include no ins codes in predetermination requests

    We have certain codes that should not be submitted to insurance and are marked that way in the fee schedule. When submitting a predetermination request those codes are being sent to the insurance company anyway. please don't allow this if they are marked no insurance in the fee schedule.

    Hi! there’s an option to ‘show on claims’ on the options tab of the fee schedule/edit fee code. You can set it to ‘none’ and the code should not show on the claim form.

  2. Treatment Plan Print Options

    Many patients requested us to include CPT and Diagnosis codes on their treatment plans for insurance purposes so we called support and had them help us with our print options to correct this. Once that change was implemented our treatment plans now will not seperate the treatment phases anymore. When I called support they said you can't have both options. We want the best of both worlds and want treatment plans to include the coding as well as seperating the phases of the treatment for us/patients to clearly see.   5. The SIG line in the printed Rx's only prints two lines. The third line is overlapped by DISP line

    The SIG line only prints two complete lines. The third line is overlapped by the DISP field. Please change this so the SIG field has at least three and preferably 4 lines for text.

    The ability to post credit card payments in insurance carriers. Presently, it has to be posted as a patient payment. More and more insurance companies are now using this method of payment.

  10. Adjustment code in Clinical Tab

    I would like the option to choose an adjustment code while in the Clinical tab. Sometimes, other people post the charges from the Clinical tab and do not know the reason for the adjustment that was entered on the treatment plan.

  11. When we call technical supp

    There are not enough available Bomgers (Remote Assistance Portal) open for your technical support to log on to our computers when we need technical support. When that happens we then have to take a number for them to call us back. This has been a problem for a long time and has the problem has exponentially grown since the update.

    I would like to have the ability to have staff view only their own hours based on the OMSVision login and NOT be able to view other staff members hours using the status button in the time clock.

  13. porcelain fused to metal crown material picture

    In the CV charting please create a material picture for PFM crowns that will be the same color as porcelain except for a small metallic collar encircling the gingival portion of the entire crown so we can easily distinguish all porcelain crowns from PFM crowns. Thanks!

  15. allow Prescriptions to be printed on continous thermal paper - it us MUCH cheaper than 8 1/2 x 11

    We waste a tremendous amount of money on expensive 8 1/2 x 11 prescription paper. We found a printer - STAR TSP 800 that prints prescriptions on a continuous roll of thermal RX paper. The paper meets ALL of the legal requirements for the security paper. Since you are printing only one at a time, it is much more cost effective and the roll of 500 scripts is much less than a ream of the 8 1/2 x 11 Rx paper. OMSVision only supports 81/2 x 11 paper - We need to be able to have an option for other…

  16. Add Security to the HISTORY button

    I would like to see a feature where we can add security to the HISTORY button under the Edit Appointment screen. Not all employees who have access to edit or change appointments needs to be able to see the history of the appointment. ... Liz

    When pts schedule an appointment, it would be nice if they could get an email with a confirmation right away asking if they’d like to add this appt to their calendar – either Outlook or Google Calendar.

  18. let charge override

    let charge override UCR in posting screen. charges vary from patient to patient & when we enter a charge and zero is ucr when posting it and selecting none for insurance filing it changes our fee to zero. we have preferences set up to use charge not ucr and want that to take presidence regardless of whether or not there is insurance.

  19. Change the Pt's Office Status

    I think it would be great if we could change the colored tabs on the bottom of the screen that tell us where the pt is at any given time, or if they are confirmed. Some of the tabs we don't use, and we would like to add some such as, seated and pending. I would also like to give them any color we want and change their position at the bottom.

  20. Insurance payments:can't see the date of service when posting if the insurance name is too long

    Previously,OMSVsion stated "insurance 1 or 2" indicating if the primary or secondary insurance made payment.The new system lists the insurance name which is good but if that name is too long,the date of service which corresponds to the payment gets cut off.Sometimes you can only see the insurance name & not the date of service at all.
