Dynamic spell check cannot handle symbols.

create a way to make a correction in EHR once something has been locked.
On a paper chart when you make a mistake, you make a line through it and initial it. We need to be able to do something in the EHR to show that a mistake was made and has been corrected after the entry was saved and locked.. Thank you
6 votesThe locking functionality is intentionally designed to prevent you from editing or making changes to records after a set period of time. Changing this or allowing users to make modifications after locking would defeat the purpose of that feature. We suggest making an addendum or creating a new record.

Preregistration Letters & Clinical Integration

Reduce font size
We would like the font size on the program notes changed back to original size. When we print the notes it uses up 3x the amount of paper.

By pass customer service screening.
When following up on issues we may be calling technical support multiple times a day. It would be nice to by pass the customer service operator

Doctor's on-call
On the appointment screen; in the area of the production performance and goals; I would recommend we have the option to replace this information area with the on-call doctor for the evening. This data would be tracked. There should be a set up screen for the doctor on-call service. For example, in our office we have four partners. We rotate call so that each partner takes a week of call. So, the on-call service would look like a sequence of 1.2.3.4.1.2.3.4 repeated for the year...except...three day weekends constitutes a special weekend. Three day weekends are rotated separately. When attaching a referrer into a pre-registration record and the referrer has more than one location, the location field for the referrer should be a required field.0 votesThe user can make the location field required using Field Properties. EMR Canals
We would like the canals listed for teeth 2,3,14,15,to be:
MB1, MB2, DB, Pal
for 18,19, 30,31 to be:

Reducing drop down lists
I am not sure of the proper name of the menu drop down lists. When you click on <File>, <Utilities> or when you right click on a patient name in appointment book... there is another list of options. I have always been a fan of reducing these options on long drop down lists to the preference of the individual user; with one option, perhaps named <more> which allows you to expand into the remaining options. Perhaps by drag and drop or clicking an option box that field will appear in the primary option list. This allows the new user to…
