address change
In in the current version of the software, if you change the address on the general tab, it will add a second address into the communications tab.
Would like the general tab to be READ only or prompt you to go to the communications tab to make the change instead. This will eliminate the duplicate addresses and questioning which one is the correct one.

Add history to Age Time Limits Feature
The Age Time Limits feature is great but only really able to be utilized the way it is designed by Perio, General and Pedo.
In order for this panel to be effective for Endo and Oral Surgery, it needs to have a column that the history could be entered.
Example: code D0140, frequency of 2 / year, age 0 through 125
.
There is no history from the software since they are seen situationally.There also could be no history due to a conversion.
If there was an additional column for the last date of service for that code, then…

credit debit posting
An issue that comes up with many offices when they first start using the software, or, as they bring new staff members on board to train....
They post an exam out. Fee $ 100.
The exam is covered, based on profile set up, at 100 %.
They have the patient pay in full due to frequency limitations.They do not use the age/time table in the insurance profiles because they are situational / specialty. The frequency was reached at another office.
Therefore, there is a patient credit of $ 100 and an insurance balance of $ 100. The account has…

It would be great if there was more space to enter an insurance group number. Some of the group numbers will not fit.
If we could add about 6 more spaces to allow for a longer group number that would be amazing. Right now we are having to leave off the ending numbers or dashes, zero's etc. Thank you

nickname issue
With the update to version 19.1.428, the nickname is automatically included on the schedule in brackets.
Great feature, however, it's not ideal in some practices as it takes up room on the schedule unneccessarily if the patient does not have a nickname.
We currently have our offices manually going through and deleting the nickname from the patient information center general tab if the name and nickname match.
When you use REGISTER PATIENT from the patient look up, it automatically includes the patient's name as their nickname.

Ability to inactivate payment types
Should have the ability to inactivate payment types.
As we no longer use them, we would like to clear the "clutter".
We cannot delete, since that potentially changes history.
Example: We added Sunbit (similar to CareCredit) and no longer utilize them.

ledger note defaults
When posting insurance payments, we would like to be able to pull from a list of defaults.
Our payment posters have to currently copy and past a template from their desktop, to keep things uniform and make sure that all information is added in correctly.
This is key for us since we are a large NDSO and want the template the same across all locations in all states.

CareCredit integration
Currently, Henry Schein does a better integration with CareCredit with other products (Ascend, Dentrix).
The only thing it does in Vision software is open the CareCredit window.
With Dentrix, I understand that offices can actually look at the schedule and see who has CareCredit that is coming in that day and how much benefits they have available as well.
This is what we are looking for with a partner integration like this. If it can be done with one HS One product, it should be able to be done with all productions.

Truform merge issue
Case 3910593 - When a patient indicates on their Truform that they use drugs, it merges into the software as a "DRUG ADDICT".
This is inaccurate and could lead to documentation issues down the road if an office does not catch this and correct it.
There is nothing we can do on our end to change how it merges, so this needs to be corrected on HS One's side.

Visual upcoming appointment aid
If you have a patient coming in with multiple appointments, you have to open other windows to find this: Appointment tab / future, Appointment book / Search. There are multiple clicks to see the information or to know there might be additional appointments.
Would like a feature similar to the numerical value on the insurance tab.

Incorporate WIA drivers for scanning documents.
Please, please, please get Endovision capable of using WIA drivers for scanning documents. It is getting more and more difficult to find document scanners still using TWAIN.

Make Provider # Bold or a different color
In Patient Info Center Ledger, make the Provider number BOLD or a different COLOR. Its placed directly next to the tooth number, so at a quick glance, can cause confusion or be read incorrectly.

Indicator for Long Distance Phone Numbers
Add an option in the Patient Info Center in the "General" tab to indicate if a patient's phone number is long distance. Could be a check box or a text field where we could enter LD, indicating it is long distance.

Preference setting for insurance profile last used not to auto populate
When I select an insurance profile on a patient and then go to a new patient and select to enter an insurance profile the previously selected profile auto populates and would prefer it did not do that.

appointment search
On the appointment book, there is a feature that you can use to search for existing and new patient appointments that are coming up. (appointment book / tools / search / appointment search).
The problem is....the field is FIRST NAME / LAST NAME. This is opposite of everywhere else in the software and is not labeled to tell you that is in this format either.

Insurance template editing
Currently offices are trained to use a template to create a new insurance profile. They have to click okay, then choose editing or making.
Would like it a little more user friendly, as office staff gets confused or hits enter to many times, thus over writing the template.

insurance exceptions
In the latest version of the software, we have the ability to add in insurance exceptions. Unfortunately, there is no way to see that an exception is applied to a category unless you edit the profile and then click on the exception.button.
Suggestion, add exception indicator on the show detail panel.

IF PATIENT IS THE SUBSCRIBER MIDDLE DOSENT PRINT ON CLAIM FORM IN THE SUBSCRIBER AREA EVEN THROUGH IT IS IN THEIR PROFILE??
1 voteThese kinds of requests are tricky, we need to have a copy of rejection notices from the insurance company for us to consider changes like this.
I would highly recommend you contact our support team and provide rejection notice documentation so that this can be documented appropriately.
