Allow Ctrl/click/drag to COPY an appt or block on appt schedule
We use blocks to indicate meetings, blocked time, etc. Currently only way to 'copy' a block or an appt is to right-click, reschedule/copy, choose the 'make copy' box and then go to the day; make copying more like typical windows tools allowing ctrl/click/drag or have appt/block highlited and Ctrl/C for copy and then go to day/slot you want it pasted, and Ctrl/V

Enhancement Request
We would like there to be some kind of notification on the General Screen if a patient has more than 2 insurances - if it could change color maybe? I believe we have asked for this before at the Task Force Mtg. The reasoning is because if the insurance are not entered in order of submission, the staff needs to know there are more so they can go to the insurance screen and see what they are.

Pre Reg Genl DDS vs Referral Source
In Pre-Reg I need an option to have the Referring doctor be required, but separately, as now the system automatically fills the general's name in where the referral source is, and in our practice, most patients are not refd by the dds.

Diagnosis Code Field for Prescriptions
Pharmacies recently started calling us requesting a diagnosis code for single agent narcotics. An optional field for "Diagnosis Code" under prescriptions that would allow us to input that code for the pharmacy, when necessary, would be super helpful for the doctors and front of office staff.

Please update the printed prescriptions to the current DEA requirements in the State of California. This change, however old, reflects quantity boxes at the bottom of the RX.

Tax Code D9985 - Should post automatically in the CDT box when billing for services
OMSVision calculates tax and posts tax automatically to a patient's ledger; however, it does not post the CDT code D9985 required by insurance carriers. This code must be entered manually or hand-written on all claims. Since the tax code is not found in any Fee Schedule list and is hardcoded in the program, please have D9985 as the CDT code associated with tax. MetLife, Aetna, Cigna, and many other insurance carriers pay for this tax. Please fix this. Thank you.
1 voteIn the 14.2 version, there is a setting in preferences/financial to select a CDT code for tax instead of using the default internal code.

Family pay
When posting a family pay, it would be very helpful if we could choose the amount applied to each patient's account.

Criticare - cable lengths
Are there any improvements?
1 voteCable lengths are a function of the cable themselves and as such will not change. Criticare does now offer a BlueTooth interface that has been shown to increase the distance between the computer and the VSM itself. You can contact Criticare directly for more information.

Put letters (documents) in date order as opposed to alphabetical order
In the document tab the letters that are sent out used to be in date order now they are in alphabetical order we found it so much easier
to check on what was sent to patients or referring doctors when they were in date order1 voteRightClick the treeView (left pane) and select sort → by Date. Also, the is a preference to change the default sort order. V2103

The margins in Case Notes need to be set so that these will print properly
When we attempt to print notes from Case Notes, the top line is always cut off (this occurs on EVERY page, not just the first page) and the right margin is set for the middle of the page rather than on the right side of the page. We have to adjust this every time. We then click on "SAVE CHANGES" but it does not save the changes. If we go back in to the case notes, we would have to make these changes all over again.

Quadrants on claim forms
The insurances are requesting that the quadrants be marked 10, 20, 30, 40 instead of LL, LR, etc. We can not do this on the claim forms at the present time.

Documents
In OMS 12.1 you can no longer double click to open an image and enlarge it. Is it possible to go back to being able to do this?

Make a pop-up comment when pulling up a patient when more than 1 exists with same name.
This would help avoid mistakes with patients with the same name.

restore search different fields
We really miss the search different fields options that the new update took away. Is there any chance that it will return??

Implant tracker
When an implant is placed prior to the implant tracker, the information can be entered into the tracker. eg implant fails.
