Ecliams needs an option to attach EHR narratives.
You shouldn't have to exit the software to use a third party software to create a file outside of the patients account so that you can attach it to their eclaims, some patients have up to 8 items that need attachments . we should be able to attach an EHR narrative directly from within OMS. The current method requires too many steps and leaves a huge margin for error in attachments to wrong patients.

Attachments in pre-reg
There needs to be an additonal tab in pre-reg were you can import referrals, xrays and any outher scanned or imported images into prereg. Our office attempts to have everything ready on a patient before they get here, to streamline registration. upon registration, the attached files should all import into Image Library

Quick Statements
In the Preferences under Print Options we would like the option to print the Quick Statement instead of the Payment Receipt or Billing Receipt. As we learned at the "Expert Series" in Boston, it is the Quick Statement that initiates the Billing Cycles, not the Receipts.

"Pt #": Need to make a secure field so once assigned, the number does not get removed. Currently you can delete number by accident.

Add Dr. signature/ fax prescriptions
We would like to fax prescriptions like most all other OMS software allows.

Default changes, word processor
Please allow changes to the defaults in the word processor. I write most of the letters in the office and would prefer a different font, size, and margins that what are set. It is frustrating to have to change it every time.

You can already do this. When you attached the referrer to the patient select the location also. All letters will have the address of the location you select.

Move the note lock symbol to the end of the line.
As it is now (ver 15.2) the lock symbol blocks our view of the treatment listed on line 2 of the appt

CO2 monitor
The ASA is now recommending exhaled CO2 monitoring with moderate and deep sedation. This may not be AAOMS standard yet but we do need the vital signs table to show exhaled CO2 (if you have CO2 monitor) This is still no the case. I have the Ngenuity Criticare with CO2 ans this should not be hard to add.

Add allergies in to merge field for narratives to use for consult visits
SHould be able to pull the patient's allergies from the EHR in to Narratives as a merge field.

Fix tooth selector
I would like the tooth selector fixed while working inside narratives. Currently, the only way to add teeth numbers to my narratives is hand type them, or use the tooth selector, which used to pull the numbers from the case. Now it is always blank and a time waster to enter them again. Another fix would be to allow the teeth insertable table of the EHR fields to add the teeth from the case type in a sentence format 1, 16, 17 and 32 instead of in a table and column format.

Document Center - Global Sort Option
In the current version of OMS Vision (12.1.0) you can sort a given patients documents in Document Center by Name or Date. The default is by Name and we prefer by Date. This means sorting each patients records as they are accessed. We would like to be able to select the "global" default setting for sorting patient documents incorporated into Document Center so that we can choose by Date if we would like all patient documents to be sorted this way.

EMR Icons
The icons in the task bar need to be rearranged. Dr. Gandy would like the power merge icon to be closer to the open template icon. It would be quicker if the icons were in the order that they are used.

put in a label that has name chart number and Date of birth from notepad
Would like a notepad label that has just patient name , date of birth, and chart number only

emailing multiple or all patients of a certain type or category
Being able to email one patient at a time is nice, but if you could create a function to truly be able to harness the power of our massive patient databases would be fantastic. Allowing us to email multiple patients of our choosing and also all patients of a certain category or with a certain marker would allow us to quickly inform all of our patients of important news, events, etc... This should be done with Blind Copy through outlook as a requirement for HIPPA compliance and also have the ability to put security levels on it so only users…

Make a spot for the cell phone number in the general tab
Since people are using their cell phones more than any other #, put on general tab and put work phone # in the extra #'s.

Create an insertable table for allergies.
So that when looking at a consultation narrative the doctor can see at a glance if there are any allergy concerns
