DC- Pre-Registration adding a mobile option when adding phone numbers.
It would be nice to have the option of "mobile" when adding phone numbers in for pre-registered patients, so then their compatible with the confirmbye-mail function. Then we don't have to go back in and update the chart with the correct phone option.

Version 15.2 currently has a mobile option in pre-registration. :)

Good idea. Right now the "home" and "work" really function as "main" and "alternate". As soon as the patient is registered, you can go to the general tab and change the type of phone number it is. This is also the way that PBHS Truforms treats those numbers (main/alternate). You can also click on the phone icon while in pre-registration and designate more phone numbers specifically for patients.

This is 2015. No one under the age of 35 has a HOME PHONE and in 5 years that will be under the age of 40. In addition, most people over the age of 35 and who go regularily to the DDS have a mobile/cell phone. Everything is done from the Mobile / Cell phone. Having Home Phone as the automatic default just requires the office staff to need to go in and change everyone patient. The reason for the computer program is to reduce staff input requirements and not increase the requirement. Oh, it is now 2016!!!
