nickname issue
With the update to version 19.1.428, the nickname is automatically included on the schedule in brackets.
Great feature, however, it's not ideal in some practices as it takes up room on the schedule unneccessarily if the patient does not have a nickname.
We currently have our offices manually going through and deleting the nickname from the patient information center general tab if the name and nickname match.
When you use REGISTER PATIENT from the patient look up, it automatically includes the patient's name as their nickname.
when you register a patient from PRE-REGISTRATION it automatically includes the patient's name as their nickname.
ENHANCEMENT REQUEST - do NOT automatically copy the name to the nickname field.....thus causing more work for the offices in clean up.
