PPO vs Indemity Setting
In ins profiles if you use the PPO setting to correctly give estimate of tx to pt, the software, when charging tx out to the ins at time of tx, bills ins for the ppo estimated amount. which puts 2 differ amounts in the ledger, which messes up the posting of the ppo ins payment and adjustments can not be done correctly by the eob. the adjustment must be calculated individual, causing to much time spent on a fee sch. that should NEVER charge fees from Estimator ALWAYS from office fee sch. That also gets into charging ppo amounts to ins which if they change their fees and pay more I lose money. And I could get aduited for charging 2 differ amounts to ins making me look fraudulent. I would like to be able to leave the ppo on to give correct ESTIMATE to pt AND for the software to charge to the ins from the fee schedule ONLY never from estimator. thank you
