Processing Insurance Credit Card Payments.
There are several insurance companies that are now going paperless and requesting we receive our payments by credit card. At this time we are calling the insurance companies and requesting a paper check, but we have been notified by an insurance company customer service rep that the insurance company can refuse payment if we do not accept the credit card payment as payment. Another problem with this is, waiting on a paper check to be reissued holds up payment for us when we have already actually received payment.

Insurance companies are sending credit card payment instead of checks. Please allow epayment for insurance payments.

Our office agrees, same problem daily. Confuses the patient when it shows as a patient payment and not insurance payment on a statement.

We have the same issue! Would love to be able to accept credit card payments. Waiting time on a paper check to be reissued can be a huge delay in payment. please consider this feature!!!!
