Our office has a "templet" of sorts that we structure our schedule around, as I'm sure all other offices have. We need our schedule to be diverse to ensure we treat a variety of pts with a variety of needs, so we cant just sched anything anywhere, so we limit how many of what is on a given day.

Something that would be paramount is some type of preferences option for the schedule. For example, if we only wanted to take out one set of wisdom teeth per day per doctor, we currently have to click through every single day, looking through both docs schedules to find the next available appt day and time for a set of wisdom teeth. This leaves a HUGE margin for error, especially with so many people in the office scheduling.

If the system knew we only wanted one set of wisdom teeth per day per doc, perhaps it could alert us if we are trying to schedule outside of those parameters with an option of override the alert if the appt was being made deliberately. This would narrow the margin of error and make things much more efficient.
