Phone numbers and printing.
Instead of having home and work numbers on pic and pre reg it would be nice to have home and cell number instead because it shows on schedule . Most people are more reachable on cells.
Being able to right click on p+ name and scroll down to print labels instead of pulling up entire pic.
Need to be able to print several different pt address labels at once like we can with referrals10 votes1 – Completed in the PIC in 2010 release.

Gender
I don't know if I am missing something but there should be an option to put whether the patient is male or female in the pre-reg area when making an appointment. Having to go into the chart to do it afterward often gets missed.

scanning as one file instead of multiple pages
Currently when you scan several sheets through a scanner using ADF (automatic document feeder), they show in oms vision as individual files. Would like the ability to have these be one file instead of multiples.

Keep all teeth charts available DECIDUOUS + PERMANENT
We are getting alot of teens with retained deciduous teeth and no where to mark them on the EMR. The primary teeth chart is defaulted to shut off after the age of seven, they need to be available at all times because more and more teens are coming in with retained teeth.

Billing Cycles
Ability to set our accounts to be 90 days interest free and then never not change after 90 days because payment posted to account changes the billing cycle to "0" allowing another 90 days interest free. Also it removes them from the "aged 90 days" aging report for another 90 days.

Rx alert - visible in EHR
There is a new RX alert that informs you if a patient is allergic to a medication when you go to prescribe for them. Great feature but would like to see this in the EHR as well when you go to prescribe from there.

Include ALL TREATED patients in REFERRER FINANCIAL REPORTS.
Include ALL TREATED patients in REFERRER FINANCIAL REPORTS. We only get meaningful data if the patient count is correct. Many referrers will send patients back (sometimes years later) for other procedures. Your report will not count them in the patient numbers. By only including NEW patients, we cannot get accurate numbers (patient or $$$)

Build the X12 835 Interface
Currently all OMS clients are stuck with using Payerpath as the only vendor because Schein did not build an industry standard interface that could export to all eclaims vendors. Payerpath's technology and reports use a "paper" claim interface and thus are a VERY UNSOPHISTICATED compary compared to Web MD and other advanced vendors. This is seen daily in the comparison of how medical claims are more time consuming to upload than the dental claims

Allergies in EMR Case Variables
I would love to see Allergies appear in the EMR Case Variables. Having the ability to pull the Allergies straight from the EMR would streamline the Narrative process significantly.

Option to use alternate type percentage instead of alternate code
In the insurance profile under estimates-percentages, there is an option to use alternate benefit code. We would like a way to just be able to use an alternate type percentage instead of a completely different code.

Editing a supernumary tooth number in the patient ledger
It just came to my attention that we cannot edit a supernumary tooth number in the patient ledger. I worked with Support on this and they agreed it cannot be done. This should not be an enhancement, but a fix.

Enable the software to be able to enter more than 4 diagnosis codes.
The new ICD-10 and medical claim forms have 12 spaces for diagnosis codes. We will not be reimbursed properly if we are not using all diagnosis codes indicated.

HIPAA contacts
When typing in contacts in the HIPAA I would like to type in the relationship to patient rather than have a drop down choice of only 3 things (one being 'other' which is not very descriptive)

Birth dates on routing slips
We are a paperless office and we use the routing slips for the duration of the patients appointment. The cone beam scan that we use is on its own computer so we have to use the routing slips to enter patient information such as name and birth date. The routing slips only have the age of the patient.

DOCTORS SIGNING OFF ON NARRATIVES MADE EASY
I suggest that when the doctor is done with a narrative and needs to sign it, rather than inserting a signature box and having them sign the signature pad, they are able to lock the note with a password. Each doctor would have their own password. When the password is entered, it would lock the note and "this note reviewed and signed electronically by Dr. ______ " would automatically be inserted into the narrative. This would eliminate the need for the doctor to sign the note manually, and due to a private password being assigned to each doctor, it would…
