Give the ability to edit medications and allergies after 24 hours
Pt's allergies could go from a NKDA status to an allergy over night and medications may be stopped... at this point there is no way to edit medications and allergies of a patient after the 24 lock... There should be a way to edit these easily!

allow exporting of the CV- perio charting to .pdf
When sending perio charting back to a GD, we have to print, scan, and email. PAIN! How about a quick desktop export so we can email quickly.
4 votesYou can save the perio chart as a PDF and it will be placed in your exports folder, you can import it from here.

NOT allow electronic claims to still get electronically filed if the attachments are rejected.
It would be easier and less confusing for everyone, that when attachments to electronic claims get rejected, that the claim would also not get sent at all. That way the claim could be sent only once, by other means with all the extra information required. There are several insurance companies that REQUIRE the additional information that is being sent in these attachments, and we can't look up every single company before sending every claim everyday, to check if it accepts attachments. Especially, since the program already automatically REJECTS the attachments to those companies. If the attachment is rejected, so should…
3 votesWe already have the ability to send attachments alone, using the reference number for a claim, this way if your attachment is denied, you can resend just the attachment.

Allow removal of a recurring block for 1 instance
If there is a recurring block on the schedule and you need to take it out for ONE day only then you should easily be able to do so. For instance if you have a staff meeting EVERY monday morning and one Monday you decide you will see patients then you should be able to remove that single day block without adjusting the recurring block.

Aging Report - Patient Balance Only and Insurance Balance Only options
Currently, the aging report has only a (1) TOTAL perspective by aging bucket. Meaning (1) TOTAL balance owed = (2) insurance claims balance only + (3) patient balance only
I would like to see perspectives (2) and (3) as reporting options.
I am in PerioVision 2013 version and no matter which of the three radial button options you select:- Include both
- Include only patient
- Include only insurance
the output only displays data for option #1 regardless.
I have a solution for this in Microsoft Excel if anyone wants it.

add a feature to scan progress notes from charts into EHR narratives
scanning old notes into the EHR narrative would be helpful. We are currently going paperless (actually less paper) and putting information into the computer. We can scan the old progress notes into the document section, but when reviewing new EHR narratives and old notes you have to go back and forth between documents and EHR sections. We have figured out how to add page by page, but it takes forever and multiple adjustments need to be done. Very time consuming. It would be nice to add them with ease.

quick statement from insurance payment
Currently can print a receipt from line item posting screen. Would like a quick statement here as well, check box format.

pre registraiton letters
Currently the pre registration letters have the referrers first and last name but does not merge the address information in. We send letters to our referrers to let them know the patient does not show up or we can't schedule them.

markers pop up options
Add the pop up capability to markers in Periovision (PIC, billing, payments, etc.) For all periovision users.

Clinical Vision lock automatically
Clinical Vision notes should have the ability to lock after a preference set number of days, just like the EHR does.

prereg documents
When creating a letter for pre registered patients, it does not log to the document center. It does this for existing patients. Need the same capability here in pre reg.

Allow an option to update the fees in the treatment plan when there is a fee schedule increase.
We should be able to update all fees in the treatment plan at once- not have to do them individually.

Allow an option to include "all specialties" in the referrer reports
When I print referrer reports, I have to run separate reports for each specialty type that refers to our practice. There should be an option to include all specialties in one report.

Make it option for appointments to turn blue immediately after being posted instead of a 30 min
Have optional feature which the appointment status vertical block turns blue IMMEDIATELY after the appointment is posted, It would cause a lot less confusion in our practice

Secure delete option
It would be helpful if we had the option to set security on delete option in image library. This would prevent the inadvertent deletion of necessary files.
