reminder notes
Currently you are able to put a reminder note in on the patient information center, but you are not able to mark that reminder as "done".
There is a check box there, but it is not checkable (informational only).
To mark it as "done", you have to go to the tickler file (utilities, tickler file), find the reminder, edit it and mark the completed box. It's a lot of extra steps when we are already in the patient's chart.
Our only other option is to delete it and we would like to keep it as a documentation. We just need…

In Treatment plan screen, add the ability to mark a line item not to be billed to insurance
In Treatment plan screen, add the ability to mark a line item not to be billed to insurance. That way if someone other than who entered it posts it, it won't automatically or accidentally go to insurance. So a procedure not covered on a certain plan won't come back with EOB showing PPO write off & confuse patient

ability to enter last four of credit cards
Would like the ability to enter the last four numbers of a credit card, so that when we refund to a credit card and the patient asks what card, we have an easy record to see. should show on the ledger like the check number does for checks and efts.

Preference management
I work for a college of dentistry which includes an Oral Surgery student clinic as well as residency program. Since implementing OMS Vision software, we've experienced several frustrations but most center around issues with how user configurations are managed within OMS Vision. I'll explain. The dentistry college is one part of a large complex of other colleges, hospitals, research groups, etc so this clinic's security is managed a lot more strictly than it might be a single practice clinic. For example: group logins are prohibited, each user must access through their own login, users must change passwords at regular intervals,…

Need to change the treatment plan to print single space vs double space; wasting paper, toner, time!
Treatment plan: The new version prints out 2 pages vs 1 page when we are printing the treatment plan if there are more than 7 items.The old version allowed more than 7 items to be printed on 1 page. Please change the printing of the treatment plan to single space vs double space. Then we will all save on paper, toner & time! We have the patient sign the treatment plan & scan it; now we have to scan 2 pages vs 1 page=waste of time!

Prevent pop-up windows from stealing focus from dialog boxes.
Would be great if you could figure out a way that pop-up screens such as instant messaging, In-office, etc. would not interfere with whatever the receiving user happens to be typing at the pop-up pops. This is a HUGE hassle when you're busy with patients and trying to get their information updated and estimate prepared.

Allow Scheduling indicator
If a current patient is not marked as Allow Schedule (therefore, do not schedule) that indicator is not showing up when the patient is added to the Pre-Reg for a new problem/referral. It would be beneficial to have that flagged somehow in Pre-Reg also

Would be super awesome if my routed forms would roll over to the next day etc & not disappear so I have to search for them & change DOS etc
The routed claims in the virtual scan forms console should remain there until posted

SHOW REFERRER ON APPOINTMENT LIST
Currently the Appointment List shows only the Gen. Dent. I would like to see it show the Referring Provider instead or give us the option to include that.

Enhance security reports
The security report (patient>> Actions section>> Print/View>> Security File) is too complicated. In general, when there is a questionable entry, the primary issue is to identify WHO made the change. However, this report is sorted by provider then change type.
Please modify this report to include options to sort by or filter out unnecessary change types more easily so that users can easily verify changes and move on. Thanks!

With the medications table and the ability to add on the fly and add from Truforms, we have several duplicates. Need the ability to combine (like the allergies section has)

NPI Field for Co-Therapists
Please add a field that permits entry of the NPI for co-therapists. A patient may be referred by a general dentist, but a medical claim may require the patient's PCP and that PCP's NPI. Having an NPI field for co-therapists that could be attached to claims would be helpful. We currently hand-write or have to manually enter in electronic medical claims.

sales tax report
Would like a report that JUST pulls the sales tax applied to a patient's ledger.
Cannot use notepad for this currently as it only pulls the total billed, which includes all procedures.
Tabulated is the only option currently for this to be reported on.

Track Actual Provider's Collection
I would like to track actual collections per provider in OMSVision. Currently there is no way to enter in the processing fees for any credit cards/Care Credit in patient's ledger without it affecting the patient's paid balance so my collections can be off up to 10% in some cases.

With the new update the mail message always stays yellow even if all the messages have been read.
I just want the envelope on the mail messages to go back to gray/white when there are no new messages to read.

List All Related CPT Codes if Left Blank and Medical Insurance is Loaded
If medical insurance is loaded in the patient record, but only a CDT code is posted, require that a CPT code be entered for proper claim submission and when double clicking on the CPT field, drop down the related codes...not the entire list of CPT codes
